You are welcome. I have a video on the timing cover 6.4 but not just the water pump. Thanks for watching. Message me on Instagram if you have any questions
Hey brother! My name is Tone also! Never seen or met another till just now. Lmao it was so weird having someone else introduce themselves as Tone. Haha I now know what everyone else feels like on a daily!
Will a bad fan clutch cause it to overheat. have a '06 with only 65,000 miles. won't overheat while part but will as soon as driven 2 blocks. have already bought a metal waterpump
I have never replaced a fan clutch in one for over heating. Usually it's for ac, the high side pressure gets too high due to lack of air flow. If it's really bad I guess it could but never seen it. If you need more help you can message me on my Instagram. Thanks for watching
I'm watching this, cause I'm having to add 3 gallons coolant , Every 30 mins driving lol It started from just purging out of the reservoir. Only having to add a little bit. At most maybe once a week. Not a lot of driving. But now that I just replaced a ton of parts , the whole front end steering everything it's just happened. 🎉And I'm really praying that. It's just the water pump and not what I think it is a head gas. Ket my luck is probably both i🎉🎉
If the coolant is purging out of the degas bottle then either your cap is bad or you most likely have a blown headgasket. Sorry you have this problem. Thanks for watching
Always lube your o ring with sil glyde so it dont get pinched ! Hahaha! Great video man. I feel confident now that i can do this job for a friend of mine. Thank you !!
Hey I am happy they did, makes things much easier. But you know what is funny, even though ford made the perforations, it is no where in any repair info. thank you for watching.
Awesome tips. I SAW that worm clamp immediately before you said anything 😂😂. Love Sil-Glyde & we use the hell out of our wire brush wheels. Nothing is worse when you get a bit of that wire brush in your clothes.
thank you for watching man I appreciate it. once upon a time I changes all factory clamps to worm drive clamps not realizing that if you put them back exactly where they were they almost will never leak.
He sure does make it look easy. The way the shroud around the fan clutch just magically disappeared and all. Stay tuned and look up my, even easier video, It goes from raising the hood, to a brand new water pump being installed. You will love how easy i make it look!
Great tips & tricks my friend. I even use a few of those myself, especially using Napa Silglyde to hold gaskets & o-rings in place. Thanks for another awesome video brotha! 👍👍
Probably easier on the production side. Funny thing is there is no ford info telling you to separate the fan shroud. Kind of thing you have to find out on your own. Thank you for watching.
I will do an updated video on that, I just did one a couple days ago Darn. Ok stay tuned for future video. You can message me on Instagram also. Thank you for watching.
I thought I showed everything of importance. Water pump eating into the cover, that is actually your front cover cavitating. It means it's eating through. You need to replace your front cover because it will eventually eat all the way through and your oil and coolant will mix and then can have big problems. I appreciate you watching the video. If you have any other questions feel free to message me on Instagram.
Dude this guy repeats his self and then doesn't even show the repair forreal....you should prob not make tutorials, no one cldve learned anything from this but how to remove the fan shroud. DEFINITELY NOT HOW TO REMOVE AND REPLACE A WATER PUMP OR FAN CLUTCH.
Yes I did not do everything as that would take a while. Maybe in the futured I will do a more in depth video. If you have any questions feel free to message me on Instagram. Thank you for watching.
