Not a very good comparison One is lifted crewcab More wind drag Heavier 4x4 with bigger tires Other is lowered 2x4 single cab smaller tires lighter weight Gotta say though the crewcab held his own
The fact of the matter is, and most people don't know this: If you take a stock L83/L86 and slap on some supercharger "kit" it's going to kinda suck. Yes it'll be faster than what it was, but it'll barely edge out a properly spec'd and modified NA engine/transmission or it'll flat out lose. You'd be surprised how little difference a blower makes compared to custom builds. Most of the really fast running supercharged/turbocharged trucks that people post on RU-vid have the supporting mods and custom tune. They may not specify all what's been done, but there's more in it than just a blower. I have some videos of a stock L83 on 35s with a whipple kit. It's slow as hell still. After lots more upgrades and getting rid of the heavy ass offroad tires it's now actually kinda fast. I have a cam going in this week so I'm looking forward to that update video as well.
