Currently waiting for my TSP vvt cam kit for my l9h Silverado cam specs:220/232 .600 3200 circle d stall. you have a very nice truck! Did you delete vvt? Stock coils? Trans cooler?
When are you putting the supercharger on? I have 18 Silverado crew cab z71 with a whipple! If you go with any twin screw setups You should look into the smooth boost controller 100% worth the money!
Once I sell 2 more cars I'll be able to order the supercharger. So hopefully by the end of August it'll be installed but we'll see. $1000 for that controller! Holy shit lol I'm still on the fence on whether to get a Whipple or an Edelbrock. It'll be a twin screw regardless. How's the Whipple treating ya?
mncarguy man it’s worth every penny tho! No boost surge and in and out of boost while on the highway fixes a lot of annoying issues most twin screws have. I’d say go with whipple won’t have to worry about upgrading again. I’m happy with mine I made with just headers and whipple 471 rwhp on a safe tune I’ve upgraded a few things now havnt dyno it again but guessing I’m around 500plus now.
@@blakebarnett2 I didn't even think of surging.. Good to know! Damn, 471 is impressive! I'm putting out 380 rwhp with my current setup, the supercharger will definitely make it shine! Mine really needs help after about 85 mph. I love the sound of the Whipple superchargers and I've only heard 1 person complain about his getting too hot. Have you needed to upgrade the fuel system at all yet?
mncarguy I’ve upgraded the low side fuel pump to a summit 465 LPH. When I went to a smaller pulley for more boost I’m at 9.5 on the boost gauge now. If you use the pulley out of the box it’s only good for 7
mncarguy and yes the whipple does heat up fast I run a 160 thermostat gonna get the katech 150 when they get back in stock. I think what’s killing your truck is the gears the 410 good for acceleration but not top end just my opinion.
