Hi Matt in the second part of the video ( thanks a lot for your super work!🙏🙏🙏) you talk for the distance between bullet and the lands 0,020 ? How about the head space ? The brass are news or fired ? All this question for 2 reasons I have the same ruger RPR and in Europe no americans powder 😭 just Vihtavuori or Vectan or Swiss Reload or Lovex Greatings from France ! Now I regard yours videos for 6 prc reloading for my new sako S20
Well, for the RPR, that is 6.5 Creedmoor. I do all load development with fire formed brass. And N160 has been amazing for that rifle with the 153gr A-Tips. I bump my shoulders .002 to .003. If you have more questions, please ask!
Load development takes some time, but when you find that load then the fun begins!!! Then you can hit those small steel targets at 567yds. One of these day I may run into you a the range, but not till after deer hunt!!!
Out with the old and in with the new. I ditched the Christensen and picked up a new rifle. There will be new material on that in the next few weeks. Stay tuned!
What is your favorite powder for 6.5 CM? I am considering trying n160 is how I found your channel. I am thinking about it for 6cm mainly. But I could use it for 142-147 in 6.5 as well
So far, my absolute favorite is N160. I have achieved the best groups and the best ES and SD with it while using 153gr A-Tips. I have taken it to a mile. I was able to cold bore the mile and then hit 6 consecutive shots at a mile on a 1 moa target.
