Thank you so much it really helps a lot both for choosing the right tool and their benefits. I think the best combination is Rokoko for body mocap and Nvidia omniverse for face mocap
IDK why, but I'm so fascinated by the fact that I recognized the background in 3:38. It's the yard of the biggest art museum in the Baltics called KuMu. Glad to see a part of my tiny country be seen by the world again :)
I did tested Rokokko and Plask AI mocap. Rokoko didn't managed to get my simple forearm blocking animation with simulated impact close to what I've wanted. Plask did much better, but fallen short from a goal. I've put the animation on a Mixamo rig and exported to blender, only to find out some bone orientation had been turned 90 to 180 degrees on their Y axes. Even my Mixamo skeleton already in the scene couldn't use the animation from the Mixamo rig exported from Plask. Both put in T pose clearly showed the change in the bone orientations. At best I can use it as ref and manually reproduce it on my rig. Tried a few days with each to find way to fix their problems, but no success.
So many new AI inventions but no one to train an AI to do auto retopology for a character. A software like that will make every character artist joyful. Best we got Zremesh and R3DS Wrap.
Hi InspirationTuts I just wanted to let you know that in the description Vegetation is mispelled in this and past videos just to let you know! Good video as always!
I find a big gap between what Rokoko promotes and the actual results you can get. I used the suit for a few shots but quickly the suit started having problems and I ended up no longer using it. The video mocap is very rough and I was not doing anything crazy. Underwhelming.
Thank you for this tips and insights, this video was so informative and beginner friendly, thank you for sharing 😄 Which one is your favorite? Do you also handle Ai image generators? I have been hearing quite a number of people talk about a new ai tool called BlueWillow. Their comments and the research I have done has made me curious to learn more. It would be amazing if you could share your insight on this tool in your next video
Good and thorough video, but my suggestion is that you need to fix your narration a bit. You are dragging some vowels for too long making it unpleasant for the viewer/listener after a while. Be more natural, imagine you are having a conversation with a friend.
There was no issue dude, the video was perfect. The problem is you, probably your brain and ear hears it differently. Go make your own video if this is not good enough
