Six people drowned after they were caught in rip currents at two different Florida beaches in just 48 hours. CBS News Miami's Chelsea Jones explains what the hazard flags at shore mean and what you should do if you ever get caught in one.
Growing up in Florida you are taught as soon as you can swim how to get out of a rip current. This is such an avoidable tragedy with good signage posted everywhere on the beach.
Prayers and condolences to all. Mother Nature can be very unforgiving. All this information should be taught in school at an early age...regardless of location.
What is so funny ? Do not judge others it might be you one day . Floridian here . The ocean 🌊 here is very deceiving . The beaches are beautiful , the water is warm and clear . People have to listen when the 🚩 red flag is out for rip current . Condolences 💐 to all ❤
