Kai Ruan make sure you dressing up, and of cause with some make up before start making your bun, otherwise and of course you will look like what you have said.😃
To all the girls who complained because they have thick hair : mine are so thin that even a simple bun looks horrible on me because it's way too small. So at least, your pony tail looks nice.
Ludivine omg so true, I honestly wanna have thick hair because thin-haired people like me, buns don't look good. I'm so jealous of people who have thick hair 😭
Lemme tell you, it doesn't look nice. When your hair is too thick the pony tail gets wider than your neck and it makes a frickin ugly shape bc it's slim at the top and bottom but thick in the middle. Looks horrible.
Ludivine Dude what the fuck, I envy you. At least you're able to wear your hair down, I just can't because it looks like a fucking dump on my head if I wear it down. It is exhausting having thick hair and having to brush it every minute because it gets completely tangled and knotted so easily.
Really? I think everyone looks good with their hair pulled back. My face is a bid wider so pulling out some side bangs helps frame my face. And of your face is thinner I would say pull everything back. Do you and rock whatever you want. You are beautiful:)
Ellie Burggraff round faces don't look good with their hair all pulled back, it makes the face look bigger. You need bangs or side pieces to even it out. I know because I have a round face lol eta I reread your comment and you seem to have a round face as well so you feel me lol
At a price... I had beautiful long brown hair, it went down to my elbows. I cut it this past spring to my shoulders- cute for about a month or so. After that, I've been wishing that I only caught off a couple of inches.
When your hair is just long enough that it makes it difficult to do any of these but you refuse to cut your hair because you're attached to having long hair xD
I had hair down to my thighs and I cut it collarbone length in the eight grade. Biggest mistake of my life, I kept it in a bun 24/7 because of how annoying the length was, always bouncing in your face and stuff.
I'm in a similar situation. I love my long hair - been growing out for years - but my current job requires me to put it up (so that it won't get snagged on conveyors) which is an absolute pain. My hair gets super loose and frizzy when it's clean, so it won't stay up for as long as I need it to. But I can't just not wash it, because what's the point of having long, pretty hair if it's not clean enough to show off? So I feel like I need to get it cut, for the sake of my sanity while working. But I'm too attached to just let it go. T^T
I kinda feel you but mines so thick and straight and it sucks because no matter how hard I try, when I take out a hairstyle my hair gets so incredibly tangled and detanglers don’t work well.
Annies Forget Me Knots I used the 5th method I just did it it looks amazing I can actually do a bun now thanks. I was worried that it would take to long and i would not have enough time to get ready but it took like 2 minutes not even chants for the tutorial. U just got another subscriber. It's me!! Thanks again
This is when having extremely thick, long hair is a curse. It's really hard to do this type of hair styles, leaving them in to long gives me headaches and my hair is just really heavy ;3;
After 30 minutes of frustration, blood, sweat and tears, (actual tears) I finally got an okay bun. If only I knew where my family kept moving the Bobby pins 😑
I don't know why but my hair never looks good with that first method but everyone seems to do their buns like this. It just looks like a dumb loop on me :(
I just added both links in the description box if your interested, but I've used Rimmel before, it's really cheap. My favorite though is Anastasia eyebrow gel. :)
Sally Beauty used to sell a product specifically for that. Its a gel with a spooley brush. Super lightweight, you couldn't even tell you had product in your hair. But I'm not sure if they still sell it, they discontinue things so often
You make these look so effortless! I've always struggled trying to get the "perfect" messy bun. I can't wait to try some of these! And I love the tip with the clear eyebrow gel! My flyaways have a mind of their own.
Thank you for this awesome video! I'm going to try the clear eyebrow gel as I have re growth too, I didn't know it wouldn't make hair crunchy like hair spray does! 🤗
The clear eyebrow gel! That's a great idea. I have the little hairs at the top corners of my forehead, too. A stylist once told me those are "incomplete hairs". My hair is shoulder length and layered, so I have to do an updo that is different than yours. I only use hairpins, no elastic.
People make there hair look messy on purpose.. and I'm here like eh imma just make a bun in my hair go for a 1 hour run. * comes back * and * looks in mirror * o yus messy bun on accident. ;)
sorry, I dont get it. My bun never seems to be stable enough and just falls and hangs down with gravity (very straigt and soft hair, not colored). Any tips?
I have really thin hair, and i got a TON of thin baby hairs, and my baby hairs are too short to have them on the side so it looks good, but they're also too long to hide... And it's so thin... Wtf do i do?? xD Is number 2 the best bun for that?
I was going to LIKE the video then.......................I found out that..........................I already liked it before watching the video😂❤..I love the ideas btw.❤
My questions for #1:Last time of what? Wrap what around? Why don't you explain what's going on on those steps? How did you get the little bit of hair into the bun?
When I attempted #1 I tried to follow the unexplained last steps and it looked nothing like what she had. I had to end up cutting out the rubber band and I ripped out a lot of hair.
A messy bun expectation: easy and quick to do when you're running late. Reality: it takes more than 15 minutes to create a messy bun but it looks like it took 5 seconds to make. Like if you agree😊
I’ve tried doing a bun since I was old enough to do my hair. I have still not got it lol. I have puffy wavy hair and it just looks like a big knot. And The only way I can do it is the right fancy bun but it looks awful on me. Maybe my hair is too long?
