Lol it’s crazy how I been watching you forever , I feel like u def are one of the OG’s for hair care . Thank you for continuing to be yourself and consistent whether natural or relax
I stand by hair mayonnaise, they used to have a box set where you add in egg, it grew my edges back fast, then recently, before I decided to transition, the hair mayo brought my edges back after relaxer breakage
T M im currently going through the relaxer breakage phase as i am transitioning as well. I swear by the hair mayonnaise but not sure if i can use it weekly. Any suggestions my hair is breaking off and I’m freaking out. Xx
Hey Megz.. Yes girl the ORS Hair Mayonnaise is one of my favorites when I need some protein, I also luv the replenishing conditioner too. I’ve been using them for years and they still work.
You are the first person that introduced me to using oils for hair health. This was years back when you were fully relaxed, and I love how you’re continuously able to get your hair to improve. That hair mayonnaise is definitely a throwback, but it works!
I think my hairs downfall is me not being able to keep it moisturized. You can always tell how healthy someones hair is by how moisturized their hair is. Your hair is goals!!
Yaaaassss!!!!! Thank you for the video. After postpartum shedding and postpartum depression and stress and things honey these edges been looking mighty thin! I’m already moisturizing and sealing every night. I’m going to get me some hair mayonnaise and add it to my routine and see if that helps
I literally used the ORS today. My hair has broken off so bad in the back from bleaching and dry scalp. And I'm on that avocado oil sis. Your hair looks great BTW!
For my edges I've been using the Blue Magic Originals with the green tea leaves the Japanese green tea leaves that grease right there really helped my edges my edges are longer and they are really thick I was thinking about using castor oil and apricot oil together for the spring and summer to see how that works your hair looks really nice I love it I have to get me one of those scarves thank you so much for sharing God bless you💕🙏
I thought I was the only one whose scalp got REAAAALLY itchy after applying CASTOR OIL! it feels crazy, I'm sad because it helps with hair thickness and growth but my scalp hates it omg.
Shaqwell Mitchell that’s because our hair produces its own oils so we don’t need to add or leave in any oils. Everyone should wash the oils out after applying them to they scalp. It irritates my hair too.
@@charmainedavis6442 since then I've been using the Haitian Castor Oil from Kreyol Essence and it doesn't itch my scalp at all! And they have different scents and essential oils in the castor oil as well so I got the rosemary mint one. Even better for our sensitive scalps. Check it out girl! 💓
I just bought me some Jamaican black castor oil. I think I’m gonna start tending to my edges every morning and night instead of night. Your hair looks healthy af. How did you grow your hair in length?
What I have found that helps all of my hair . Rosemary oil & Rosemary water treatment overnight. This has helped my hair tremendously. Thicker hair, less breakage, shine and overall healthier hair.
@@vimbaisasa9355 I use an oil mix I discovered on Curly Proverbz' YT channel. What I put in mine is: JBCO, olive oil, coconut oil, fenugreek seeds, neutral henna, amla powder, brahmi powder and eucalyptus essential oil.
@@MsDieynaba Thank you, l have been using fenugreek infused with hot water and dried rosemary and l can see a difference. I love curly proverbs recipes, l modify them to suit my pocket (financially).
@@vimbaisasa9355 You're welcome! Most of my masks are DIYs. Super effective, and a lot cheaper than the store-bought ones, especially when you have a lot of hair like I do 🤣
That style booster has been a lifesaver to me. I don't go crazy with the baby hairs but that is literally the only edge control that I can use throughout my whole stretch vs having to switch up according to how much new growth I've gained. Your edges are looking good girl, great video!!
I have a recipe that works as well. I caught your video and thought you were a darling! Thanks for the advice about manipulating your edges; I won't try that again.
I love ❤ this. I gota say I prefer this rather than the wigs that destroy our hair. Thank you for the video because my hair was very long but I ended up with severe aniema and went to a bad hairdressers that pulled on my edges horribly bad luckily I started braiding with my own hair dressers again I've had for 17 years and now I look after my hair with good products especially castor oil and mega growth products including their relaxer which goes with my hair. My hair is quite strong compared to what it's gone through and my edges are very thick so no matter how much I do my edges they stay I have a very low hairline too which grows on my face lol I think I will be using the avocado oil aswell because I eat alot of the actual vegetable😆 🤣 but I'd like to ask what does the avocado do? And the elastic mango butter do for your hair? Thanks
I love the applicator brush idea, easier distribution... but for some reason the bristles seem to be to rough on my edges from constant application. Also FYI the new mayonnaise formula has no Dimethicones in it. #BackNBetter
Hello Megz. Could you please leave the link on what brand of the scarf from? I know you said you purchased it from Amazon, but I would like the exact same one. The size, length and all. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
where did u get the moisturizer??? where I live(Indiana) they stopped selling it in stores for some reason and I can't find it anywhere anymore it was my favorite moisturizer
Hey Megz! thank you so so much for always sharing! have you ever had problems with your nape area? mine does not grow at all and it hurts too, could you recommend something please? anyone here that can help me, please? Thank you sistahs God bless you all!
I use a lot of these products too; however I still notice a ALOT of hair breakage and dandruff which is concerning.... What am I doing wrong? Pls HELP!!!!! Btw: ur hair look absolutely beautiful as always 🥰
Honestly, I'm taking a break from braids, since we all in quarantine. I'm hair is natural so it's a good time to take care of them & set them free. Even, after all this Covid-19 thing, I might stay w/o braids for a moment, I kinda like it. I will just rock a faux afro puff & voilà!
I feel like it depends how you wear them but I am not a far of all the gluing that I'm seeing now. I would suggest going glueless and not wearing them to bed.
