Georgia dropped 6 points in a 3 point win that was questionable due to Alabama getting a touchdown on an incomplete pass which last year Ohio state and tcu were not championship with one loss so how does that make sense
Riola going to Nebraska was not a huge set back for UGA. with Beck coming back next year, Gunner Stocktom, and then Ryan Puglisi coming in UGA will be just fine at the QB position. There are a lot.of great things coming out about Puglisi, his arm strength, his technique showing whoever coached him in high school and earlier knew what they were doing becuase he has great form when throwing the ball. And some people, not fans but CFP analyst are saying Puglisi has one of the strongest arms they have see in years for a young QB. Just today Jan 3rd Puglisi was named 2023 Gatorade player of the year. Riola did make a mistake but I think he not only wanted to play his first year but didn't want to have to compete the next year and wanted the starting job given to him. He will most likely transfer after his 1st year at Nebraska. He never has been too committed where he played in high school, transferring several times and when he committed to UGA i told people he will de-committ before its all said and done.
We heard FSU players were already abandoning their team weeks in advance, so I fully expected this blowout. It really could’ve been way worse but we basically emptied our bench in the second half & let all the backups play. Still hate that the season ended this way. We got shafted this year, as did FSU, but I’m glad we at least didn’t go out as quitters like FSU did. Meanwhile FSU fans & the team are making every excuse for why they lost so bad to us. If they wanted to just forfeit then they shoulda done that. 😂 Ready for next season! #GoDawgs
We had nothing to prove🤷♂️yall were trying to bounce back after losing the conference championship to Alabama. We won our conference championship, and our beef had nothing to do with football. Our beef was with the committee, politics, & money. Our season ended at 13-0
@@Joe.H. highschool kids out there and you say no excuse. We had non scholarship players out there aswell. Georgia has great depth over many years while it’s unacceptable to keep letting them score their rb room was too good as no one knew how to tackle apparently.
I love Wendy Bulldogs Is when massively but this is not right for the players to stuck around the players that sat out should be ashamed of themselves for what they Did to their teammates Dirty
There is just a huge difference between the culture at UGA and at FSU and the two head coaches, Kirby and Norvell, that separates an elite program like UGA from a decent program like FSU. Georgia could have done the same thing and had every reason to do what FSU did, the players and Norvel, did. They could have been cry babies like FSU and Norvel for not being selected for the CFP because UGA is one of the best teams If not the best team in CFB this past season. Norvell even said playing in the Orange Bowl and playing Georgia was beneath FSU...not exact words but he made a similar statement. But that's not what Kirby and the team did. They took the sbub from the committee and were determined to go to the Orange Bowl and show they are a top 4 team. Unlike FSU who cried about it and had so many opt out. Besides the players who were injured such as Bowers and Mimms, Georgia had 0, that's right 0, opt outs. That's the elite culture Kirby brings to UGA that FSU does not have with Norvel and will never have with him as head coach.
From a Dawgs fan… FSU let their piss poor attitude dominate them. They should have stood up and fought. They should have been in the playoffs on merit… but as it turned out the “committee” was right exactly because of FSU’s unsportsmanlike attitude. FSU was a better team than what we saw Saturday. They had the opportunity to step up and stick in the “committee’s” face. Instead… they chose failure.
After performing & doing your job perfectly for 13 weeks, would you feel good about performing that same job after your boss told you that you wouldn't get paid for those 13 weeks that you gave that job your complete all? Would you take your boss or that job seriously after that?
This proves why bama deserved that spot with their qb out their offense had no chance not to mention their horrible defense when they had all of their players much less now fsu can’t compete with a sec powerhouse like bama or Georgia their conference sucks
