Yes it's handheld. The internal stabilisation of the gh5 helps a lot though

The minolta 45mm f2, 35mm f2.8, 50mm f2 (plain MD) are some of the sharpest lens across the frame of their generation, it's sharper than helios for sure.

There are many models you can buy, ranging from 200€ to 2000€ or more. I paid this one 700€. And yes it is one of the rarest ones. Btw the gh5 is great for photos too! Not the best but it does the job

@@NicolasGaillard Damn I want this lens! :D I just love those shots. I bought this camera just for my use. Today I'm going to take my Leica 8-18mm for wider field of view when making shots. But this anamorphic lens is really great, guess I would stare into the camera all the time once I'm somewhere abroad on vacation. haha Btw, what about those 3D printed parts? Do you have to have some adapter to mount your Moller lens?

You need what's called a clamp to attach the anamorphic scope to the taking lens. You can buy machined aluminium clamps (redstan), but in my case I made a custom 3D printed one to have a perfect fit for my setup. The other 3D printed part is the variable diopter in the front. Usually anamorphic setups are "double focus", which means you have to set the focus on both the taking lens and the scope, but with a variable diopter you set everything at infinity and just focus the diopter. It costs minimum 500$ to buy, I made it for 20$...
