Channel *"TFL"* are BiG fans of Toyota , but they brought back their 2024 trouble-riddled Tacoma back to the dealers and got their money back ! And they kept their Chevy Colorado. Which proved to be a much better mid-size truck.

I traded a 2021 for new 2024, I got to tell you the this guy is full of “crap”. The new truck runs better, rides better ( It’s a truck, so it’s not going to have car ride). It has more torque then the V6, just went a 800 mile road trip Though the mountains of TN and WV and got around 23mpg running 265/75/18 tires( I would say that is pretty good mileage for a pickup in the mountains

This is sad for a once tough capable truck it always was. Their going backwards and that will affect the bottom line. Toyota needs to wake up and smell the coffee.

All depends on what region of the country you are in , most places these Tacomas are not selling. The rear leg room has always been a complaint compared to the competition. Would of been nice if Toyota made some improvements. If you wanna tow big, you are supposed to go to the Tundra, but PLz don't lose out on towing capacity via a new series. The price is *"**#Astronomical**"* 🛸 My 2018 Tacoma gets the same kind of gas mileage and maybe better on a highway than this new one. From a lot of the reports from many channels, *Toyota* made a step backwards *_"BiG time"_* !❕️!

This is a bunch of dumb drama. I have 20 years of ownership experience, and 5 years of experience working a marketing related position for Toyota. People complaining about this are either butthurt that they own a 2020-2023 model so they can't reasonably upgrade, and need something to complain about, or they know nothing about Toyotas. A. Toyota's are always slow sellers during a model change over. Just a characteristic of the brand, and also related to logistics. B. The 4 banger is a superior engine in torque and overall power. Plus some of Toyota's most celebrated engines of the past were Turbos. C. I own this truck, and I've owned 4runners and a Tundra. The build quality is on par with the rest, and the interior plastics are actually extremely similar to previous models, if not the exact same materials. D. Rear seating is fine because these trucks have always been for smaller people. In the past no one has cared, because big guys couldn't even comfortable drive these. Now they can, but with the seat way back. Nothing new... E. The software glitches are carplay related and many brands do not even offer bluetooth carplay because it's an apple issue. I have seen no software issues outside of carplay. F. Complaining about the ride quality of a 4x4 is hilarious. But with that said, I can't say it's bad. I've enjoyed it and it has the same confidence of my previous TRD. G. It can still tow 6500 lbs, which is more than enough for a truck this size. It's a very light truck. No way I'd want 6000lbs behind it. Also, who told you Gladiators have higher towing capacity. They top out at like 4000lbs. And wranglers are MUCH worse. H. Finally, the prices are exactly on par with inflation compared to previous generations, with the exception of maybe the TRD Pro, which is in a new class with this generation. And there are discounts to be had right now.

yeah, you are in marketing for toyota....so you have NO credibility, or can add anything of value to the conversation without rather obvious bias.

@@billw8476 I "worked" for Toyota over 10 years ago. I don't do automotive related work anymore. But if you want to discount my 10 years total of automotive marketing experience, at one point working directly with Toyota corporate, fine. It's an educated opinion though. I'm far more loyal to the brand from my experience as an owner though.
