Yesss! Thank you. Summary of take aways.. 1. surround yourself with the right people / energy 2. live below your means 3. take risks (calculated) 5. get good at failure ''fail fast'' 6. pay yourself first 7. understand power of investing (long term investing)
Everyone that’s watching this, this is a confirmation! If you needed this as a sign to start that business or RU-vid channel do it! If 2020 has taught us anything, for a lot of us it may have been how to manage our finances, good luck!
So true, I’ve been procrastinating for years on starting a channel and I have a book full of business ideas. It’s time I sit down and really get a move on all these ideas, and it costs little to no money at all. Everyone who started never had a fortune but worked toward having a fortune.
“I am not afraid to fail, I am afraid of not trying.” Needed to hear this! If you watched this video you will try and become a millionaire! I believe in you 🤩
GLAMAFROMNY thank you! This thought has been with me for a while. Not everyone can come and wants to come with you. I didn’t know so many felt that way too.
The circle is SO important. People who have a different mindset stick out like a sore thumb to me. I have to back away from those who don’t “get it” because I don’t want their negativity to get in my head.
“A failure is a badge of honor” I’ve been told my entire life that I’m a failure and I’ve never looked at it from this perspective, sis you literally made me cry, thank you so much!❤️
Live below your means is the biggest one that gets missed!! Just because you make more doesn’t mean you should spend way more. I’ve seen people who make $50k save more than people that make $100k 🥴 Great video!!
I guess people who are generating a lot of income feel the need to show it, express it, for proof of their wealth. When in fact you need to remove that ego mindset in order to see true progression in wealth. It’s difficult for some people because they aren’t financially educated . Once your financially educated you won’t make those mistakes !
Can u make a video about the thing that you wish you knew when you were 18-23? Some advice for young people who have just graduated highschool but want to learn about business and try as soon as possible? Love from Poland xx
"Surround yourself with the right people" Thank u Patricia... my sister is the only one who really has the same mindset as me and truly motivates me, this makes my circle less than small but just having one person who wants better like yourself is enough! God has a purpose and plan for all of us!! ✨
Live below your means is so important and often gets missed! Just because you can afford to live in the luxury high rise doesn't mean you can't be comfortable in the cheaper more modest home/apartment.
it's cray - the book is almost 100 years old and lessons are still true today, i did a short video on a few of the main lessons which I found super useful
Well done. As long as you stop those aso ebi habit and stick to shopping list, don't buy things you don't need and really invest....all these things I was doing wrong...I am now saving.... looking for a broker to help me with investments.....it's all those giving away money to family and friends holding me up..... it's hard to say no though when people are struggling.
"Failure is a badge of honor. It's an opportunity for learning." Great video! Thank you for sharing valuable information. Let's all become a millionaire together. Well spoken.
Are we just going to ignore how big sis sat down and made a 5 year spreadsheet before leaving her job. When she said for 5 years I 🤣🤣 Big sis your DRIVE is unmatched. Keep teaching us ❣️
mion rughert I honestly wanted to leave my work 2 weeks before the UK went in lockdown. Thank God I didn’t get that job I applied for because I don’t know what would’ve happened to me. Planning ahead is definitely a must.
@@WinyMary it is totally necessary. Alot of people out there are opportunist. They will drain the life out of you & then some. Cutting people out of your life without explanation is the best thing especially for your sanity and future.
thank you SO much for pointing out that you don’t have to buy the latest and greatest in order to allow yourself to keep up with everyone else. I feel social media makes people feel like they need to have what the top fashion influencers have in order to stay relevant. so thank you so much for pointing out how ridiculous that is 🙌🏽
Notes: -surround yourself with people who have a growth mindset -Ask questions to those who know more than you -cut out negative minded people -live within or below your means -know différence btwn assets and liabilities -set high goals and take small steps (long term path) the little things matter -take calculated risks and commit -“fail fast” - Learn & get back on your feet -Pay yourself first. Savings & investments must be a priority -Invest long term ! -passive income streams
Great tips! Also, investing in yourself is really important. Just about every single successful person invests in personal development-whether it’s books, one on one coachings , seminars, etc. working on yourself and your mindset is crucial to becoming the best version of you!
I think you started this channel at a perfect time. Although, I love a good fashion channel, finances and entrepreneurship is basically a necessity with this economy. Thanks for this information
1. Right people around you 2. Live below your means, avoid lifestyle creep 3. Set high goals, work incremently toward them 4. Take calculated risks 5. Get good at failure 6. Pay yourself first
Setting higher goals and achieving them in a bite size manner couldn’t be better said, I think so many people get caught up comparing where they’re at to people who seem to be more successful and get discouraged that they’re not there yet, but taking your time and going through the entire process is what sets the foundation and the mindset for the end goal
I told myself to watch this video before I go to Oxford Street today so that the millionaire mentality/habit is fresh on my mind🤞🏾Because all I know these retailers wants all the money we’ve been saving during Lockdown 😭
Oooh, I think God is trying to tell me something, I've just finished a zoom call about finance and investing, and then I jump over here and see your video!!! Yessssssss confirmation thank you sis I'm about to take a few "calculated risks"! *opens excel to get a spreadsheet started*
Hi my dear!! This is the first time I commented in a RU-vid video for real... and the first video of yours that see and I have to say that I love the way you express yourself. Wonderful advice and also I laugh with your video.. thank you so much! Many blessing to you!
I will be a millionaire to one day like Patricia. I will look after my family change the world give to charities & mentor our young people ❤️🙏🏾 #manifesting. Thanks Patricia for passing on your knowledge
Love it Patricia talks money, relationship, motherhood and womanhood! Supporting you! Keep growing and taking people with you on your growth! ❤ Would love to hear more about investment worth taking the calculated risks with. The only thing I would add is rich people don't have tine for nonsensical things. Ladies and gentlemen use your time wisely. Eliminate yourself from drama. Clean your mind and your heart and the world can look different.
Patricia, your advice of 'invest in yourself' is so powerful. I was always second guessing spending money on doing things to better myself personally, or professionally (like courses). I no longer feel guilty about spending this money and it's benefited me so much in my life and in my work. Thanks for such great advice auntie Patrica!
My entire family is in this trap and my mother got upset at me for refusing to even step into this trap. I can be really good with a studio flat so I can spend and save on what I want and need.
Unfortunately our family members can be the negative ones in our life, what I’m trying to do is ignore them. I understand that my life will not be spent on benefits, I want better for myself.
@@Eatingaloneagain I think it's out of resentment that they didn't think to make the same decisions and/or refuse to make them and are upset that I'm making them myself. It's nuts but I'm not living for them. 💛
Serah Olivia you make valid, respectful points. I really think that’s the same issue with me, we just have to push forward and focus on the bigger picture! HAVE TUNNEL VISION WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR POSITIVE FUTURE. I believe in you girl ❤️
I had a studio flat before kids. I'm not a milionaire (yet) but I'm debt free and time rich (my own boss and present in my kids life). It's bliss. Hang in there
Still working on read books it’s hard while being a student but I’ve started waking up earlier to have more time. I’m going to start working on making those connects and surrounding myself around people with a similar mindset/ goals. Thank you for making this video, love your videos!
Tbh this is spot on. Live within your means, have good perspective and be level headed whatever. Calculated risk is good, crazy financial risk is just gambling. Learn from your mistakes, be better next time
I’m here listening to Patricia’s advice. She’s my role model and I’m 14 listen I’m here bcos she’s the only one I listen in this life literally I luv luv luv u Patricia 💋💋💯🔥🔥xxxx
"Anybody who thinks about becoming a millionaire as being a quick fix right here, right now, they're either gonna lose a lot of money , they're gonna lose a lot of edges and hair lines", you are brilliant!! I'm also inspired by your video as I am finally in a position in my life where I can afford to invest and create a long term wealth strategy. Who we surround ourselves with is definitely important. Your network is your net worth :)
Yesss. These are so true, especially the surrounding yourself with those types of people. Picking who I spend my time and energy on has really levelled up my boss game :)
Goals! I’m about to pay off my student loans this next week, so I’ll be looking to increase my net worth and wealth. Thank you for this great information!
To all the people out there that don’t really have friends that have the same mindset but want to have a virtual group or friend that’s on the same wave! Comment below!🤩🙏✨ lets make a motivating circle
I’m 27 years old sharing a bedroom with my 18 year old sister . I had to give up my room to my 30 year old brother who has a child because of his own financial circumstances . I’ve given a lot of myself to my family I’ve worked hard my 20s and never had the funds to invest in anything but rent....and I’m now focused on officially leaving them behind and building my own life . I saved all my money during quarantine and now I’m in the process of an e-commerce business . I’m a registered business owner and all I need to do is invest my money in my product and hope that it can generate high sales . Patience is important but Once that happens I hope to save all my money and officially move out on my own. I truly believe this will succeed AND I’ve been keeping it a secret from my family because any bit of negative feedback or negative opinion can RUIN your business progress and your creative process ! Wish me luck 🙏🏽
Never had a friend with a millionaire mindset. I'm going to with all the changes I'm making this year! Love this video so much!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for your valuable content!
I’m really a fan of graham Stephan seeing a female RU-vidr talking about money so transparent and so ambitious I LOVE IT! Love watching some gooood quality content!
I have spent a larger sum of money on new working equipment I need. I have been feeling guilty over it for a while now but I do consider it an investment in my professional growth and career so I think it's worth it. Love this channel and the knowledge you're sharing you motivate me so much, whenever I am feeling down or failing a lot I come back to your videos and instantly get a morale boost!
You're no.1 is the key! I grew up surrounded by Wealth and my Dad always told me to have friends of Affluence cos they can only help you and give you and not take away from you, etc. Soooo true!🌹
Surrounding yourself with success minded people is so important!!! Having those people around will always keep you inspired and believing that your dreams are actually possible
Great content 👍!! Everyone dreams to be a millionaire and there is no impossible in this world we live in. All we have to do is invest ,trade wisely , know the risk of the trade, know when to trade and so many more.. investment is the real deal.
Yes,I have always want to be millionaire is my dream but is a pity that most of my friends have made it, like they have no skills, only that they invested in profitable businesses.. Please can you share some idea on this investments?
I have tired so many investments which are very lucrative. I invested in real estate,CD Forex and At & T in all this, you can start up FOREX with little funds and it grows more with time.
I have heard so much about Forex investments and I have tried to trade on my own but I keep losing money to the market which is so frustrating for me. How do I go about it?
Am here for this Sis.RU-vid is so good to me I get reminded of this everyday whenever I watch people like you. I love and appreciate that you help others to grow.I love all the tips.Thank you so much.👍I Watched all the adverts to support dear.
I totally disagree with "living below your means" exploring my means has helped me make money. Explore your means and think of ways to extra income. Great vid😙
@@cassielee1114 never limiting your means. If you want the latest Mercedes-Benz instead of saying no I can't afford it, you think of ways to make enough money to buy you two Mercedes.
I have always said be around people who have what you want, to learn how to get it. It's such a valuable tip, I STILL do this in my career!! These are all great tips, thank you. 😁
I resign from a great paying job to stay at home with my kids..my husband and i decided i will stay home and he will work. It worked for us and every chance i got i nwas in the kitchen learning new stuff and for 5 yrs i push myself learning as much as possible . Now that my kids are older i have started my own little business and getting great reviews.
Watch Alvin Hall and read his books your money or your life, follow Dave Ayefeso and follow his financial advice and read pay off your mortgage in 2 years by Graham Hooper. Best of luck. I wish I had all this years ago. It's hard to stop shopping and buying rubbish.
