thats the issue, most people that get a door like thes and forget to make the wall also strong, so in some cases its easier to brake thru the wall then to destroy the door...
*I've forced doors open for years between the military, fire department and now law enforcement. They are targeting the wrong spots. You target the hinges or lock. Hitting a door away from those points allows it to flex taking most impact regardless of what it's made from.*
Security doors have solid steel high calibre hinge and locking mechanisms integrated into the door frame, it will resist the impact very well. Also most walls that this type of doors are installed into are steel reinforced concrete slabs.
You know how in movies the SWAT team yells "breach" and then knocks down the door with the battering ram? I want to see a scene where they yell "breach" and then spend the next thirty minutes attacking the door with everything they're got then eventually just put a note on the door saying "sorry we missed you."
TOBY GAMES yea reminds me of those police officers in the states serving a search warrant and one police officer decides to climb the gated Fense all the while it was unlocked 🤣🙈 he looked like a tool
Future be like : "FBI OPEN UP!!!................pls " And you are just like standing in your confortable chair and drinking your milk in front of the the door from the inner side and looking like badass
i'm also curious because if the battering ram doesn't work they use an explosive charge on the lock or the hinges and the people in the video didn't even try to get through the hinges
Any of these doors could be easily and quickly defeated with a cordless drill and cordless reciprocating saw. Expensive yes, but terrifyingly quick and effective at gaining entry.
That steel plate reminds me of one door in a James Bond novel. An MI6 safehouse that someone tried to breach with a shotgun and ended up peppering himself with shot bouncing back.
As someone trained to breach doors, these demonstrations dont show a whole lot. The strength of the door is impressive for a door, but they arent smashing around the locking mechanism, where the door would open from.
Yeah, but in most cases the building walls are not up that same level. According to the police technical department study 2 men with sledge hammers go through 15 cm (5 ") re-enforced concrete wall in 10 minutes. That seem to be a brick wall, so 5 minutes max.
That's so true your door is only as secure as your lock all the doors shown have euro locks that are shit I'm in the locksmith trade and even the most expensive euro is easy to open . They should fit them with mortice locks . Or keyless proximity
What if you live in an apartment and you live on middle floor, nobody can break your windows and your roof is under many other living quarters or apartments.
@@raph326 Fact is anything you can do will give you extra time to react whether call police, arm yourself, or escape. Most criminals are after easy targets quick in quick out. They hit a obstacle and usually leave.
@@raph326 my friend ppl stole expensive brand bikes parked on 3-4th floor balcony over here in daylight so being up dosent rly make imposble to brake in from outside window/balcony some of robers are very ambicius and can put spiderman to shame with ther tricks... it more depends up on your community neighbourhood and if u got alarm system instoled police respond time etc... if u left house alone for long and you live in bad neighbourhood there is nothing u can to to keep your property safe
Such doors require walls that are three times as strong as they. Just saying, because with a door like that you may have just made it cheaper, faster and much less sweat and effort to just come through the wall. BTW, all of this is forbidden in Indiana where SWAT teams need access to your residence 24/7 in case they need to kill you. If they can't get bullets through you in a reasonable time with reasonable effort (kicking your door once or twice), that's a criminal offense there.
Great idea. Ive heard about Sky lights. I can walk up a 12-16ft 2×6 right up onto the roof. Easy peasy. Although the interior Alarms have went off by motion detectors. As well as neighbor hood watch. And not to forget about the fencing and Steel gates. With all that. Armdd security is most likely present..
@@RM-lk1so motion detectors can be defeated in a number of ways, just hold up a sheet or just cut power. Once you're inside you can take your time on the steel gate.
Just get a reinforced concrete wall with steel like bank doors with 6 automatic cylinder locking system and you're all set. Or better yet just buy a fortress home.
it would worth for installing impact detection into those doors - as soon as it recognises an impact it should trigger the alarm but also it should reliably distinguish intruder from visitor hardly kncking on the door or delivery thrown at the door
_It took rescue crews several hours to cut open the door with an oxyacetylene torch. When paramedics were finally able to make entry, they could only pronounce the victim dead at the scene._
1.Get a small inflation jack and place under door. 2.Get Electro Magnet and suction to door and winch off, 3.Ark Welder on high voltage and go for the lock. Anything can be destroyed. Or just take out surrounding wall.
There was a viral video of the Romanian police trying to break a door down and they didn’t everything they could to take it down, it took them an ungodly amount of time to break down, they brought in battering rams and I think they even shot at the door but nothing happened
Nice and sturdy doors but I wonder what locks they use... Someone like LockPickingLawyer would probably get in in few minutes without making any noise.
