We all know like 95% of you are just watching for fun and are never gonna cook any of that 3% actually gonna cook the recipes and 2% are just hungry as fuck regretting their decision when they pressed on the video
@@myriaaaaa5229 I never said cornmeal makes it taste good. I said that, if cornmeal isn't used, it's technically not a *corn* dog, even if the rest of the recipe is the same.
@@Max1996YT people cook differently. So whatever I cook is probably different from yours. Black people cook wayyy differently than others. Yes I am black
I doubt I️t was fresh out of the fryer. The grease probably dropped off while they were setting up everything to film. I really overthought this as you can see lol
Okay...old family recipe. We call these "Potato Boats". Get some good quality "dogs or your favorite sausages. Plank 'em (that is to say, cut them lengthwise and lay 'em out flat) and thinly spread on a bit of sweet-hot or other quality mustard (might also try using horseradish! :-)). Spoon on an inch or so thick layer (I go an inch and a half) of mashed potatoes (caramelized onion or garlic mashers work best!). Top with shredded sharp cheddar cheese (and maybe some chopped green onion) and bake for a half hour at 350 degrees. Plate up and squeeze out some catsup for dipping on your plate. Trust me...you will NOT be disappointed.
Nice video. I have made the dogs wrapped in cresent roll dough before many years ago. I like the cheesy corn dog idea. The dog stuffed into a Jalapeno and wrapped in bacon is also very cool.
I love this because there's no talking. It's now proven that to teach cooking to the novice cook who would sooner hit up an Applebee's or whatever, doesn't need dialogue. Just the birds eye view of everything that's happening to the point where it can easily be duplicated. It's quite ingenious. It's ingenious because it tells everything in a minimum amount of time. Who needs a cookbook anymore?
what do you expect from someone who puts cheese on a hotdog or ketchup on a sugarless pancake dog. replace half the flour with cornmeal, make and dip in mustard.
Ethan Ellis There are plenty of reasons to wear gloves while chopping peppers. Those with thin or sensitive skin would want to wear them to avoid burns. I wear them so I remember not to touch anything while I have the juices on my hands.
Rachel Lawson I hate to break it to you, but "hispanic" is not a race. It just means related to Spain or Spanish speaking countries. For the most part, Hispanic people are Caucasians. Some are Caucasians mixed with Asian and or African.
So I just got done making the chili cheese dog boats and that is the best way to make a chili dog ever! I even got my sister to try 1 and she hates chilli dogs after trying many and said that was the best chilli dog she has ever had. Thank you again
So, I tend to try new things, I wanted to try out some of your recipes and found this, the problem is, I don't like cheese. There is cheese in all of these, why?
Was there 100grams of cheese? What??? I am so confused. How much is that? Like 2/5cup of cheese or 3/4 of tablespoon of cheese or what? Thanks for answer
T-Rex I was joking :) I know what 100g is, I just make joke of these stupid american measurement of cups and spoons and whatever that dont make sense. Tell me how can you easily measure 1/2 cup of butter for example? You will take butter of the fridge, then load it to the cup and put it out? Thats silly. Just grams make sense. Buy the kitchen scale and your good :)
American recipies i feel like are great for americans, because they're often after how things are packaged, like this and this many sticks of butter. Grams works better when translating them though, and it is more accurate than volume based measurements
Štefan Yes, American measurements are "stupid" and "don't make sense". If you're too dumb to understand very simple amounts, or if you are very easily confused, I suppose that's true. Half a cup of butter is one stick. It's not difficult at all.
Not again with the pigs in a blanket. BuzzFeed has overused that term and recipe with slight changes in the final product. BuzzFeed is now running out of recipes.
I totally Love Tasty videos....yippee!!!!😄 So very Creative, so visually exciting to watch, what can I say but absolutely awesome!!! Thanks for all the food elves at tasty for all your wonderful efforts to share with me and Humanity!☺😊😄
I tried the first recipe about an hour ago but I didn't have chilli. I kept it simple. I basted the bread outside and inside with butter melted in the microwave, baked for 5, then added cheddar bits in the base and on the ends, then a thick line of mayo, mustard, ketchup. Fried onions until caramelised and boiled hotdogs, then drained hotdogs and put them in the pan with the fried onion oil to coat them. I put the dogs in the bun, added onions on top, then more cheddar to coat and baked. When done and cheese melted I added a slice of avocado on the side. I must say it was DELICIOUS, so thank you for the idea.
the results of to perfect the recipes of the hot dogs, becoming a delicious art, are exquisite with a taste beyond of a normal snack, purely tasty to the core (or sausage), !YUMMY¡.
