If I'm being honest here, it depends more on the person's personality. Some are shy and some are outgoing. It's a matter of the personality of that person to fully determine how they will approach someone. Because we are all different there's no fixed way to know if someone likes you for certain. My friend dragged it out throughout 5 months and didn't let it go, until me and my friends finally blocked him permanently. I'm aromantic and I don't enjoy it when people have feelings for me, therefore I don't enjoy getting confessions. Especially from my friends.

Then I went offline for a month without realising, and then when I went back he seemed very sad. Then when I did message him it was as if the sadness was gone, as if I was the light. all these signs were here and asked her out and she said she liked me too but the religious differences would make it not work. But at least I picked up on the signs, even without this video so this video was a good reminder I wasn't being crazy.

So I have this friend I’ve known FOR A VERY long time. About a year ago I developed a crush on them. One of my other friends ended telling them and they friend zoned me.
