Those books are absolutely beautiful! I love that they spark questions in little ones. I would love to see more of these types of videos, they’re so helpful.
Lovely recommendations 😍 I would love to introduce them to my son❤️ especially the wonders of nature and illuminature 😍 I recently got a book for him, life size ocean animals which he really loves so I guess he would like these too❤️ Thank you for such beautiful recommendations Vidhya🥰 I always look out for your videos on books!
@@Feelgoodmama sure ❤️ I got it from Amazon. Life-size: Ocean Animals www.amazon.ae/dp/1788107764/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_ZVPVN0ZQS86NRZFX8M4M?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
These are beautiful recommendations, especially the Illuminature book! It looks so uniquely different from other picture books I've seen. I was browsing picture books I could purchase as gifts, so thank you for the helpful video :)
Hello Vidya! Very intriguing list, and very different from the typical names shared by other sites. These are exactly the books that I keep looking for. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing collection!! Looking forward to more of such videos.
Hi Vidya Thank you for these beautiful books! A book that I came across recently with an autumn theme and absolutely stunning illustration is ‘Little Goose’s autumn’ by Elli Wollard..it mostly deals with how different animals prepare for the winter. Do check it out if you haven’t already. I am sure you will love the illustrations
Hi Vidya! Waiting for the post about fiction books. I feel, that my book collection is over-represented by non-fiction. I would like to get some recommendations for fiction books with lovely illustrations.
You could leave a couple of books with his toys, and see if he picks one up. The pictures will draw him in and he’ll ask you to read it to him. My other videos have great nature books for preschoolers too.
Wooow....never saw such a unique collection anywhere U r lucky to have access to library... Do u know any such books sharing resources in india,? If soo pls suggest
Such a lovely collection!! We started reading to our baby when he was just 2 weeks old and he can entertain himself for hours now. Thanks for sharing!!
Just got my copy of slow down and it's beautifull!! Please do a video on introducing non fiction to young ones. I try and we are going steady but struggle compared to picture books.
I love your book videos and also your presentation style:) I'd recommend to check out National Geographic's Photicular book series. We have 2 of them and I'm considering getting another. My 15 month old loves to flip through the pages, they are sturdy enough to not break under clumsy hands. Having finished my picks among the kids' book classics, I now focus on presenting books of unusual formats(e.g. I'm definitely getting Illuminature! ), just to curb my kid's interest about what all a book can represent.
@@faraahbarafwala Book titles depend on kid's age and your region(or language spoken at home). Categories I'd go for: 1.Human faces/expressions: e. g. Baby Faces by Margaret Miller, Peek-a-boo! by Roberta Grobel Intrater 2. Body parts: we have Where's Baby's belly button and Toes, Ears & Nose by Marion Dane Bauer, however a minus is that the illustrations are not very realistic. 3. Opposites: Baby up, Baby down by Abrams Appleseed 4. Routines: We have local language books at home. From international ones: Good night moon by Margaret wise brown (English speaking households only), Good night Teddy (soft book) 5. Vocabulary-building: First 100 words Lift-The-Flap 6. Story Telling: Books from Sophie Schoenwald(International, however not sure there is an English version) Little blue truck by Alice Schertle (English speaking households) 7. Animal sounds/Touch and feel books: Here we have a local language version so you got to look for recommendations. 8. Lift-the-Flap books: Peep Inside Nighttime from Usborne Publishing 9. Songs/Rhymes book. Storybook Rhymes from Fisher Price publishing, The Wheels on the Bus by Paul O. Zelinsky (for bigger kids than my current 15month old, as easily distructible). I recommend to check out Videos for baby/toddler age groups depending on your situation, from youtubers: Feel Good Mama, Hapa Family and Learn With Adrienne.
Thank you for the recommendation, will definitely add that to my list. And how wonderful that you are inculcating this love for great books for your baby right from the beginning! Do keep sharing your finds!
