I’ve been married 11 years now and just about every single statement I could resonate with. Marriage can be impulsive sometimes with some people, but staying positive and honest with each other when it’s uncomfortable to meet the needs of your partner is genuine work. Doing the work to maintain your peace is absolutely necessary! I am not married and this was helpful for me. My current partner, previously married for 10years with 3 children sent me this video.
Respect. I needed this today. Yall have no idea what I'm going through in my relationship. I'm soon to be married and everything started out great. 2 years in. We are both deserving ppl of mature love but so many things take effect in our growth. I want to stand my ground on who I am and he wants to stand on his. I want to be myself at all times I don't want anyone calling me out. Def on my attire I'm so basic is ridiculous. But when I want to look like something other than Harriet it's a problem I'm exposing myself I'm for the streets.
