I’ve made my dogs “green smoothies” for years, raw leafy greens in my blender with bone broth and sometimes berries!

I have a 12 week old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and I have her on a raw diet. I'm using Instinct Raw Beef Bites along with beef bone broth. I nuke it for about 25 seconds and she eats like she's never been fed. I also have a 3 year old GSD and she's on Instinct Raw boost kibble, beef flavor also with bone broth. It's amazing what a good food will do to for your dog's health and coat.

Dogs are so fun to feed. They will eat such a variety of foods… unlike cats. I’m losing my mind trying to find/ make healthy cat food that my cats will eat. Great video!

I have found that identifying your cat's flavor or texture preferences and slowly mixing in something new that still fits their preferences is the best way of going about it. That said, cats can be a special kind of picky!

Tell me about it! I add 1 flippin egg membrane and she acts like i'm trying to poison her. Got her almost off kibble, now i have to deal w this addiction to ONLY fancyfeast tuna whitefish pate 100% every day!

I have a cat that defies the "cats are finicky" stereotype. He will eat literally anything I eat if I let him, he even likes vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower. He has yet to turn his nose at anything so I'm always checking if something is bad for cats before giving him a taste.

How much should I reduce his amount of kibble once I start incorporating some of these? Or do I leave the kibble the same and just add on?

I use and rotate ALL your suggestions. Her absolute favorite is goats milk, her skin and coat is in the best condition. We adopted her from a shelter and she had multiple pyomas. We keep taking her to the vet, but they kept giving antibiotics. I found a video by you, tried the goats milk, and after about a month her skin was healed. Thank you!!

Same here, Vets 3 to 4 times a year and only antibiotics eere prescribed 🤦🏻‍♀️.. started Dogs on goats milk daily and has cleared their rashes and helped a ton with ear infections 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Glad to see a new video! I do have a question about vitamins you would recommend? We were using your recommended PawPlex Vitamins and it appears they are no longer in stock or they stopped production because they have not been available for months now. We add many of these ingredients to our Sammy's food. We rotate between raw 93/7% turkey, cooked turkey, and chicken. So far I am very pleased overall with our choice in Orijen dry kibble. Plus he gets, spinach, carrots, goat milk, blueberries, and spiralina powder with each feeding. We also rotate, raw eggs, cooked eggs, pumpkin, and bone broth! This keeps our Irish Goldendoodle very happy! Thanks -Shane

I can't say enough how grateful I am for your raw goat's milk recommendation. My Merry had horrible seasonal allergies; her skin was patchy and she'd get these horrible scabby skin infections anytime the season changed (twice here in FL). We've been giving her goat milk for about a year now and ALL of these symptoms are GONE. Completely! Both my dogs get a couple tablespoons with every meal and will continue to get them forever. Thank you! (Also I'm curious what you think of FreshPet food?)

I just adopted a tiny Chihuahua mix (4.8 lbs) and I'm trying to figure out how to feed him and getting a bit overwhelmed. He's got some pretty serious allergies and joint issues and I really want to give him the best possible life. Do you have any advice on portioning for such a tiny little guy? A lot of the market available supplements are for dogs bigger than him and as far as toppers are concerned, how much should I mix in? I really appreciate your videos! Any recommendations for a kibble for a 6-year-old rescue pittie mix? She was on zignature zssential (which it took me 5 different brands to settle on this and we do extra texting each year just in case because of the DCM thing-- she just does really well on this food, and this formula, in particular, wasn't cited in the complaints), but the price has gone up $20 a bag. I wish I was kidding, but I can't afford to feed it anymore with what I make-- $83 a bag is too much for us. Spending $64 on it was already a challenge. I just don't even know what to try next since she has such a delicate tummy and we would ideally like to keep her food chicken-free.

I have a 6 month old puppy (chihuahua/whippet mix) and he hates his kibble. It was recommended by his vet and then I found your channel and looked at the ingredients and the first ingredient was corn. I have since started supplementing his meals with some turkey purée…I want to ease him to raw but what do you think? Any advice? He also has tummy problems (diarrhea) skin issues and has eye boogies which I think are all the result of his diet…

Adding turkey is a great addition! I have plenty of videos about raw diets, but my best recommendation is to start off with a commercial raw food (like Primal, Stella and Chewy's, Small Batch, etc) and be sure to slowly incorporate it into your current meals.

Have you gone over the prescription food diets that vets push? My cats liver numbers were high and my vet wanted to put her on Hills science digestion diet. Just wondering if it’s a cash grab since I’ve heard mixed reviews about that brand 🤔

I made a video about a year ago about grain-free and grain-inclusive foods. In short, there is no evidence to support the claim that grain-free foods cause heart issues and research favors the theory that these conditions are caused by a culmination of variables (breed, genetics, pre-existing conditions, and diet).

I hope I am feeding her right! I feed my almost 10 year old havanese mix a blend of primal freeze dried nuggets hydrated by primal bone broth. I know homemade bone broth is better but I don’t always have to time to make it. I also give her one primal raw goat milk frozen into ice cubes for a after dinner snack I live in Florida so I freeze them so she has a cold teat. She also gets the occasional carrot slices or celery. And I mix up her goat milk from regular primal goat milk to the one with blueberries. She is a picky eater so it is hard to find something she likes before she was on royal canine canned food because she is prone to constipation but once I saw the ingredients I took her off it. For her teeth I also give her some orijin dry dog food but primal is my go to. Any suggestions for what I could also do is appreciate just don’t tell me to feed homemade raw because I don’t trust myself to be able to make it balanced enough to have the right nutrients.

I love Primal! The only suggestion I would make is to swap the kibble for a raw chicken or turkey neck to clean the teeth (Primal offers both). Kibble is actually does a very poor job of cleaning teeth and actually adds to plaque and tartar buildup. I have a few videos on dental care that you may find helpful!

The only thing is my mom won’t let me add any kind of bones to her diet ever since she read about some dogs getting sick or dying from bones.And my dog nearly died choking on a hard sweet potato jerky yuuri treat. And she believes it is unsafe. I even brought up yak chews and she said no. So I am at a loss other that the aforementioned dry dog food to add crunch to her diet.

It depends on the caloric needs of your dog, the caloric density of each food, and what ratio of kibble and homemade you are wanting to feed.

Love all of your videos. I have started adding cooked meats (turkey or beef) and sweet potatoes (cooked - they won’t eat raw). Plan on trying Front of the Pack Supplements too. Question - My 1 yr old pup won’t stop eating poo - I keep it cleaned up as best I can but she finds some. Any ideas on how to cut that out?
