We’ve had our ups and downs… I wasn’t the best husband.., I pushed her away…. I just found out by her phone she has been texting a guy from her past, calling each other baby and everything. I’m so dead inside right now… we have two beautiful kids together. She’s called me a narcissist, gaslighter, and very hurtful things when I confronted her last night. I loved this person but we talked about how we should start to focus on our self and broke up , but i still can't fully commit on letting her go. today i chatted her and yeah she said she still not okay and refuse to reply on "iloveyou" i sent to her , and she said " she doenst want to get my hopes up " and " told me not to wait for her " 🥺 and im super lost i love her that much .

What I don’t see positive from coaches (I have been with a couple) and where it could be dangerous for someone who needs a therapist is that coaches focus on prompting the individual to action, I can see in your approach on the video that there are some things that “are not good” “or shouldn’t be done” during that process, that a therapist wouldn’t put it like that because therapist focuses on the emotional turmoil, how to navigate it and where do they come from so that the individual can dig in deep so that it won’t happen again not because “it shouldn’t happen“ or it’s not the right thing to do which is what coaches sell. The thing about grief is that is subjective and each person goes through it differently, so limiting this is not natural, prompting the person to get away from this process into action can be detrimental due to the pressure this can cause during this vulnerable time. The therapist allows the individual naturally to feel like they don’t want it or feel like going back those patterns that lead the relationship to be where it ended or to allow the person to be in a specific scenario that was not good for them. It allows the self-awareness of the person which is the strong one to naturally take those decisions because after a thorough awareness of why this makes sense the person decides this on its own, as for coaches tell people what to do and what not to do and that’s it, the person just needs to convince themselves why it is a good idea regardless of unconcious patterns that may make the person fall into those patterns later on again.

20yrs we was together then 2.months later she met someone how am I to deal with that grief?

Been friends witha guy for over 3 yrs but always felt like he's my person. I got alot of mixed signals, we would always argue about the same thing. Recently stopped talking for three months and I accepted that it was actually the end but then we rekindled again amd now we aren't speaking again. How does somebody let go of "their person?".. I really dislike this phrase. It sounds very silly. Nobody can let go of "their person'"... That is"yourself." Gender neutral terminology must make sense or it looses the entire purpose of communication. How can you be a coach if you can't make yourself understood ?
