Where I live, the very last one you showed is called cleavers. Other than dandelions and stinging nettles, I also like chickweed and bitter cress. Broadleaf plantain and narrow leaf plantain are great to eat as well as to use for bug bites and stings. Weeds are awesome!

Another great informative video. Another tip for you that I do myself. I own a large fish tank and do a 25% water change every week. I put that water into my water butt as its full of nitrates and my vegetables seem to love it

I capture rainwater in a large open container as I wish to keep it's paramagnetic energy. I then keep it topped up with water from a canal along with oxygenating pond weed to keep in clean and full of microbial life.

@@sibit1 A perfect example of how you can't judge a book by it's cover. I certainly don't agree with you though. But guarantee this man has achieved more than you ever will despite of how he presents himself. He looks perfectly normal to me.
@Keyspoet27
@Keyspoet27 Год назад
Agreed, I've been watering my plants regularly with water from our fish tanks since the 90s, and they do absolutely love it! And, on the occasion that we lose a fish or two, I bury them in a plant pot, and the plants get the benefits. Just an inch or two of soil keeps a small fish from stinking up the place. Obviously you would need more for a larger fish. Or you can do what a friend does, and blend the fish in a blender with some water, and put small amounts of the resulting slurry into three or four small trenches around each plant, then cover with soil. No waste, and the plants do great.

Thank you SO much for this video! I was amazed at how much weeds can be beneficial in acting as mulch; adding nutrients back into the soil etc. I have never used weed killer in our garden and as a results have plenty of weeds - I am always wondering how to dispose of them - not any more! It all makes sense now I can put them to good use; who would have thought! Carry on teaching us Alessandro and thank you:) Mags

Great video, thanks! I have s question about the fermentation and liquid compost.... can I use all sorts of weeds/ veg food waste , leaves together, or should I keep plants separate and make separate liquid compost? I want to combine all the weeds I have inherited on my allotment into one ferm3nted or liquid compost, but I am getting a sense of keeping things separate?
@Angel_Scum666
@Angel_Scum666 10 месяцев назад
Mainly the things to look out for when adding weeds into compost are aggressive weeds/weeds with seeds, dry diseased and pest-infested plants! Another great add on to any plant, are ground up egg shells, and depending on the plant, coffee grounds! Such as with tomatoes, but no more than 20% of the soil should be mixed with coffee grounds!

@Keyspoet27
@Keyspoet27 Год назад
Compost them, or ferment them into plant food, as he shows in the video. You can compost nearly all plant materials, and bean shells are small enough that you wouldn't even need to chop them first, though they'll compost faster if you do. You don't want to compost allelopathic plants, such as black walnut leaves, husks, shells, or wood chips, because they contain a chemical that prevents other plants from growing and thriving. But pretty much everything else plantwise is good for compost.
