If pH drifts past 7, plant uptake of some of the nutrients becomes less efficient. For instance, plants become deficient in iron. The best pH for Hydroponics is slightly acidic as the values range from 5.5 to 6.5. However, the optimal pH range for the availability of nutrients somewhat varies from one plant to another.
@@LeechTM There are a lot of people who were given the product to review, but almost all of them use a week or two. The product is marketed as a "full life cycle" product for plants. It needs a price cut, and to be marketed as a seedling starter, which is similar to what you said in your review. I was searching as I was skeptical that something with that many plants in such a small area could support real growth. I have lettuce I started in normal seed trays, then transferred to a 5 gallon bucket. It is larger than the 5 gallon buckets opening. I think many of the issue could be program related, like you had many app issues. However this product's been on the market for 6+ months. The fact these programming issues still remain point to a lack of post sale support.
ChiliChump on YT was given one but I don't see him as being a shill because the peppers he started in them all did amazing and looked great. So maybe build quality can vary.
