WoW always had a bunch of classes but only a small portion of them are actually playable. As I've previously made videos and talked about the notable ones such as Necromancers, Blademasters and the like I'd like to cover the lesser-known ones in this video, such as the grenadiers, sappers, runemasters and even flying units.
While some of these just wouldn't work with the way WoW is at the moment I think a lot of them would make really interesting additions in the future.

Did you check the private server Conquest of Azeroth ? They have developped like 20 new classes that are so original it's crazy.

Sapper could basically be a spec for Tinker. Sapper(ranged dps), Operator(Tank) and Medic(heal)

Blizzard will never release a class with three specs again. You will be lucky if every class release from now on isn’t just like those weird Lizard people in Dragonflight, one spec one race, the most minimal amount of development time required.

I could see the medic class being the apothecary, so like they would do damage over time with flasks, but then have potions they could use to heal people up. I hesitate to have a " medic" per say as priests are kinda considered that in gnomish lore, like they aren't healing you with the light, they're healing you with magic, it just looks the same cause it simplifies the game. I feel like it would fit with the asthetic of a tinker too

I think just a "Witch Doctor" class would be awesome. Could be a potions, voodoo and dark magic based. Would be super fun to play if done right. Make it a leather armor class... that uses staffs and polearms. Have ranged dps, melee dps and healing specs. Would be fun. Could even pull some of the necromancy elements of voodoo magic into spell book.

When Blizzard included the Engineering and Alchemy professions; they basically screwed the chance of making Sappers, Tinkers, and the potion tossing healer/support class (which is what I think you’re describing with the Apothecary) a thing in WoW. As for the Mountain King, I highly doubt they’d introduce a Faction-Specific Hero Class for balance reasons. If they did that, they’d have to give the Horde something like Blademasters, and figure out respective abilities and talents while balancing. That’s unlikely, considering the reason they gave each faction access to the class they didn’t have from vanilla was to get away from the hassle of having to balance Shaman/Paladin abilities when it came to Raiding.

Necromancer, Tinkerer, Shadow Hunter, Barbarian, Cleric, Spell-Thief. These are classes I want to see established. Some unique classes... a mail wearing necromancer played as a fusion of death knight and warlock. A barbarian would be a leather wearing melee fighter that gets stronger the more they're damaged. Some fun, unique classes is what the game really needs.

I think most of these are professions or traits that can be learned as professions Classes are more like disciplines or doctrines rather than professions. You learn how to be a tinker, you learn how to ride something that flies. but you don't learn how to be a warrior, rogue or a monk, you train for it you don't learn how to be a mage, you practice for it you don't learn how to be a warlock, you pay the price for it you don't learn how to be a demon hunter, you forge your oaths for it you don't learn how to be a paladin, you put your will on it you don't learn how to be a priest, you put your faith on it you don't learn how to be a shaman or druid, you are chosen to be you don't learn to be a death knight, you are rised for it.

Sapper, tinker, and alchemist could all be specs of an Artificer class, similar to how its set up in DnD 5e

I always felt like druid flying forms could have some more combat skills. It doesn't need a lot, just it's auto attack and maybe a swoop and claw ability or a wind gust attack.

Runemaster sounds like it could've been awesome; basically, a paladin, but fueled by Arcane instead of the Light. Like, they could have three specs: Augmentation (melee DPS/party buffing), Nullification (tanking/anti-spellcaster), or Evocation (ranged DPS).

The next class will follow the balancing rule of 2 specs only. Stacking 3 every new class means more work for Blizz.

so the first half of this is basically specs for the tinker. then we got "beast riders" which is not viable, so not worth talking about. and then it's a dwarf-only warrior, which is never going to happen. (even though i'd love it) hey, gotta pay those bills somehow, i guess. i gave it a like.

I would like to get in Forgemaster like Isac from Castlevania. And like spec would be necromancer for dmg , Forger (tank) he would be like unholy paladin, Warbringer , like warrior but he has lot of stuns and when he kills someone he can arise him and he is his pet , but they're very squishy

Tinker class sounds really cool and would probably be only available to Gnomes, Dwarfs, Goblins, and Vulpera. Personally, I would of taken Tinker class over the evoker class any day.

So I think that they could mix the tinker and the apothecary giving them a tank, dps, and healer subclass. The tank one probably has a mechanical sute that can take a lot of damage, the dps probably has a few totem like constructs like mortars and electro interference, and the healer mostly in a healer but can drop buffs on allies and debuffs on enemies.

Just make a class for each race Dwarf/dark iron dwarf: mountain king/mountaineer Goblin: sapper/tinker Troll/zandalari troll: shadow hunter/witch doctor Orc/maghar orc: blademaster Draenei: Bounty hunter Blood elf: spell breaker Night elf: warden Undead: necromancer High mountain Tauren/Tauren: spiritwalker Human/kultiran: buccaneers

Some of these, I really could see being combined into specs for a single class, the Sapper (and anything explosive/sabotage) fits well as a spec under the tinker especially, while some flying units could be the byproduct of a factory tinker spec. Focus being a resource here. Alchemist could absolutely work with Apothecary as a spec, focusing on damage over time, and aoe abilities. Again Focus would be the resource. And now we get into the realm of bonkers ideas, because honestly, it's a bit of a stretch to combine so much: Rune master and Mountain king are tough ones, with the mountain king in particular being race specific, but could be combined in a class that focused on the lore of the race, drawing upon their ancestors (w. abilities like avatar), scripture (runes) and racial heritage to fight enemies (like having an ability that made the racial abilities recharge faster or empowered them). Resource would be dependent on spec, mana for runemage, focus for ancestor and energy for the racial.

Pretty much all of these can just work as Tinkers or Tinker Specializations. There so much to work with regarding Tinkers.

i want Warden class that rlly cool and powerfull in warcraft III, i thing wardens is a combination warrior and rogue class (that class can be called Shadow or dark Warrior) with special ability power of Vengeance and crystal prison for soul where Maiev imprisoned Illidans soul to WoW Legion with others Demon Hunter and more demons that why i love Maiev Shadowsong and other Wardens

Perhaps we'll get something like these or sub-classes in 11.0, because remember, 2024 is the 20th anniversary and Blizz wants to make it BIIIIG. they definetly don't want to mess it up from the business perspective

Yo, Orc, Goblin, Gnome, Dwarf & Kul Tirans would make amazing Sappers. Hell, give them the ability to summon Bomb Crawlers and have Mechanical ONLY pets as Support. Not like Hunter Pets Weapons available for them: Guns, Two Hand Mace, One Hand Mace, Staff. Type: DPS, Tank.

We always ask for bards and tinkers. What is Blizzard's answer? Never. We always ask for new races and we get the same disheartening responses in the alliance with junkgnomes and humans with 4 stomachs as the pinnacle of devs' creativity. We are only receiving dracthyrs because Blizzard is desperate and is appealing to the sirens' song but even when it's time to captivate Aunt Blizz does everything in half, breaking the race between ally and horde, as she did with pandaren and giving a less muscular look as many would like and limiting the new race to being just a caster. With this approach, I don't expect to see new classes made to delight players if it's not done to please the egos of the blizzard devs before pleasing the players. HAVE MERCY.

For a connection to it, I'd recommend going monk, rogue or warrior, and taking the inscription and enchanting professions.

Although some of these are a bit out there, I'd be more excited to see some of the more practical suggestions mentioned brought into the game since they have established lore vs Blizz making up a new class like the Invokers.

Blizzard doesn't even do the simplest things that would please players. We're only going to have dracthyr because the game is discredited after beta for azerith and sadoland and the devs are desperate to bring players back with something shocking and innovative to seduce discredited fans. Blizzard is so desperate that they are waving many things that players have been asking for for years, but with the incompetence and lack of talent of the current teams, it is more likely that we will see things incomplete or halfway, as usual. People like Hazzy and Simp Danuser don't have things like that in mind.

It would be much easier to just expand on professions in this regard. Most of these are derivative of the professions. Engineering, Alchemy, Blacksmithing, etc.

Yeah, I kind of feel like professions have lost their pizazz for a long time. At least since classic anyways. Might just be nostalgia goggles but classic engineer is about the closest we’ve been to a playable tinker class. Actually making items that DO THINGS. I mean there was explosives, trinkets that summon combat pets, jumper cables, MIND CONTROL HELMET. A lot of the crafting professions have their own potential for being a whole class, really. Would have to get creative for tailor and leatherworking tho

All the classes they've added to the game are inherently designed to speak to a different fantasy that wasn't really there before. Either from a lore standpoint or a general fantasy rpg standpoint. Monks and dks are there cause they fullfill the DnD monk and dark knight fantasies respectively. Demon Hunters and now Evokers fill out a power source we knew was there but wasn't available to us before. With that in mind something like a Bard seems like the most obvious pick for that core fantasy feeling. For the other one they can always make up some shit, but have to make sure there's a clearly defined and separate look and feel for the class. A mountain king or blademaster might overlap too much with warrior. Any type of tinker might be too close to engineers etc. They'd probably prefer to stay clear of stuff like that.

What we need is a Lifeknight. The name sucks, but basically it would be the opposite of the deathknight. It would be a melee support class that has learned how to blend holy and nature magic together and be one of the most broken healer classes ever created. Hell, I've never liked playing a healer class, but something like this would get me interested. Also, if Blizzard could implement more siege features to dungeons, raids, and maybe even world bosses, we could have the tinker class be a siege class. Then, we could have more destructible buildings and other features in the game.
