I personally didn't apply to the USAFA, but I plan to go to college and commission as an officer in 2024! I hope to see you somewhere in the Air Force/Space Force. -John Sridaoduan
yes painting videos like bob ross with airforce commentary 😂 You can talk about stuff you did that day and just stuff you do on the daily whilst at the academy. Keep up the good work.
I’ve been following you for a very long time. I’m so proud of you more than you’ll ever know. Even tho we’ve never met I feel like I’ve known you for years..I’ve been trying to join the Airforce because the Army denied me due to eyesight. But I’m still trying and if that doesn’t work out then I’m just going to continue with nursing.
wow, saw your video on the tour of Minot. My son is going to there to fly the B-52. Congrats on going to the Academy. Great achievement for you. Very nice
Glad to see a video, just hit my one year mark in December. You were a great help before I joined. I went to Sheppard and everything, 2A851C comm/nav for the 130. I'm at dyess afb now. Hopefully by time I hit my 6 year mark I'll be commissioning too.
Just hit my 1 year mark in the Air Force today and I see this video pop up on my phone. Watched a lot of your videos before I joined. I’m a 2W131. Great to see you in the academy. Keep striving and wish you luck with everything! Aim High!
Congrats on everything that you have accomplished. Keep going strong I still have to say my favorite video of yours is the one about getting married in Tech School. Gives me a laugh every time. "What's her favorite color........"
I love the Air Force academy videos I have a friend at the academy right now. And I am working on enlisting in to the Air Force right now and hoping to make it to the academy one day to follow my sisters steps. But first for me is enlisting, I am hope to see more Air Force academy videos soon hopefully
You can be the second coming of Bob Ross! As you know, he's retired AF and a lot of his paintings were inspired by his memories while stationed in Alaska! Keep up the great videos. Maybe you can make a video with you and Cambria also. 😀
I'm not in the Air Force but I did AFJROTC in high school and my favorite piece that I got during my time is a challenge coin with our unit patch on one side and the Air Force logo on the other w. the 3 core values
Would love to see painting videos and really appreciate the trip down memory lane! Remember, 3 hobbies you love; one to make you money (or in this case, educated), one to keep you in shape, and one to be creative : )
Hey WildBlueYonder, I was unable to receive an appointment to the Air Force Academy, but I’m not gonna give up. I’m going to make them tell me no as you said. I plan on getting in as you did, by going prior-enlisted, but I’m unsure of quite a few things. Is there anyway I might be able to contact you by email or some form of social media? I just wanted to ask a few questions because you are one of the only people I know of who attends the academy after being enlisted. Thanks for your time and your service, take care.
Congrats!! As a mother I enjoy your videos! My son graduated BMT, and is at Sheppard now. He will be headed to elemimdorph later this year. Keep it up and keep sharing!
Congrats on your AF journey so far! My husband will be hitting his 4 year mark this June, he recently extended few more years too! He also recently got accepted to Cross Train into a new career field. He's currently in Tech School right now as a Prior Service student, so it definitely a different experience for him compared to his 1st time in tech school
So excited for you! Started following your channel in 2015-2016.... We're both familiar with Maryland and I found your video's for my son who enlisted and graduated from Lackland in 2016 during the active shooter. I was hoping he would have interest in the academy but its fair to say I think he's past the age cut off. He's turning 24 and is enjoying his AF life all the same at Boise, Mountain Home AFB..... He did start a channel on IG Car page: lilboujie_vert or boostedmitch and his friend on RU-vid @ Belen Oreo. I'm sure your parents are proud and so am I. Salute!
Congrats!! I'm proud of you and your accomplishments you've done so much and thank you for sharing.I love all your videos keep them coming military and other things happening in your life you're awesome and inspirational to me to never give up. Stay safe and healthy. : )
Hey Man, love your content! You’ve continued to be a great help and motivated through your videos. I was wondering if you could give me a recommendation on the best boots for BCT? Thank you!
Man it’s been a while since I watched your videos last time was August of 2018 right before I went to basic now I’m living it up as an A-10 Crew Chief getting a permissive TDY next year for my A&P. Plan on going for Lockheed when I get out if not I’m going to try to commission. How far away are you from graduation and do you know what your career field is going to be?
I know this was a little while ago, but im planning on going into the air force and im hoping to become a fighter pilot, but i apparently need to be at least 160lbs, do you know if this is true, and if it is do you know a good way to gain weight but stay lean?
Congrats on all your accomplishments. I'm an old school Prep School grad, A Squad represent! I then went to Squadron 25. Rock hard, red eye. As for you, going from prior to preppie to cadet is amazing in itself. Keep up the good work. You're an inspiration to a new generation. I just subscribed to your channel so keep doing the videos. Remember, the haze never ends.
Hey man, I am very interested in attending USAFA...if I didn't get accepted my first year but I still want to go to college, am I able to go to ROTC and reapply again for the next year and if I was then accepted, transfer from the ROTC of the college I attend to the USAFA? Thanks, great videos that are super helpful!
Thank you so much for taking the time to make all of these wonderful videos! I have watched so many of these today. We are currently stationed at Aviano but heading to the Pentagon in a few months. My husband is currently the Wing Chaplain here at Aviano. Our son is heading to BMT in 5 May. He’s pretty anxious. Your videos have helped tremendously. Thank you, and congrats on your anniversary!!
I have been watching your videos since your time at Minot. Your growth and progress are evidenced by the high-quality presentation of this video. You should be proud of your well earned accomplishments. Always fun to see a new Wild Blue video. Stay safe and healthy.
The painting is beautiful. I definitely think its a good idea to start painting. It would add a new playlist to the channel. Congrats on six years. I'm waiting to go in, once the virus is over.
Got a question for you bro: after I go through all the necessary training and am actually doing the work out on the line, am I allowed to use my own tools? I have thousands of dollars of them built up in a nice box (all of which are USA made) from my experience currently being an auto tech, and I know all the tools from that industry wouldn't be the same, but many of them would still be able to be used and even potentially help the job get done more efficiently (for example, I've seen guys using speed wrenches to take off bolts instead of an impact wrench). Any thoughts or input on this?
I’m mx man and that wouldn’t fly. All the tools are accounted for and you have to check them out. No personal tools allowed on the line. 21-101 outlines all of this.
Even if they do, keep pushing at it, you'll appreciate it more once you do get it! When I have a setback, I imagine that life is just testing me to see if it's what I really want.
