I put the clipless kit on my Ultimate and it's fantastic!! Love it. Just be really ... really careful when placing the guides so everything lines up. :)
@@LyroLife your own words were “Traxxas never stops innovating” Doing the same thing over and over again is not innovation, this is the same truck just with the technology that was developed on the crawlers years ago, not innovation. I absolutely love Traxxas, but when everything is some variation of stadium truck, touring car, or crawler, it really limits the variety. Traxxas could absolutely design some thing to compete with the MST RMX 2.0 at least. We also still don’t have a factory RWD drift car with clip-less body mounts that aren’t magnets, and most magnetic set ups are aftermarket anyways.
Why should Traxxas 'innovate' a platform that's already proven not to be realistic to drive and enjoy? True Rear wheel drive drifting might work for vehicles driven from the inside, but anyone that is already familiar with radio controlled vehicles know that AWD/4WD is the only way to go. That's why nobody makes a RWD drift car at all.
@@skeetermcswagger0U812 this is exactly why Traxx needs to make one, because nobody knows about it except the diehard drifters. Look up Sakura D5 or MST RMX 2.0 Real drift cars are not AWD, they are RWD.
@@unnamedracer9757 Yeah I hear what you're saying, but it's a very narrow margin of consumer that would truly want to challenge themselves above and beyond learning how to drift well in the first place. I remember back when on-road racing was the big craze for a while so Kyosho or Tamiya came out with some front wheel drive on-road cars and although it was a cool idea and they sold it didn't maintain popular demand.
@@jessejames2546 XRT too, mine has come off a grand total off one time after a nose landing from about 8m high, and it didn't even come all the way off lol great design.
What I don’t like about clipless bodies is it makes it hard to be able to go down to a hobby store and pick up a proline body that you want to paint yourself 🤷🏻♂️
Y'all need to calibrate your GPS speedos 😂😂😂😂 I love your models but like fr why advertise it as 60+ when literally everyone gets 55 consistently with the exact setup you recommend for 60+ Like it's cool bro I've clocked my xmaxx at 47 which is plenty fast enough but the box says 50+ so just quit lying
