Christoph, I would just like to say thank you for sharing this impressive motor design, manufacture and assembly with us. It is great to see 3D printing being used in a practical dynamic application rather than just being used for printing vases, figurines and other silly objects. You mentioned that the stators ferromagnetic material reduces the rotational speed while increasing the motors torque. Have you ever tried testing the motor using conventional stator materials (soft iron or aluminum)? It would be interesting to see how this effects torque and overall efficiency.

All I can say is thank you. This combined with a circuit I have been working on for years have helped me create a 99.5% efficient design. . . . with a few small tweaks I am hoping to achieve over continuity !

Wirklich verdammt beeindruckend! Ich habe meinen drucker inzwischen soweit, dass er sehr genau druckt, vielleicht werde ich irgendwann die STLs kaufen und es selbst mal probieren! Respekt für die Arbeit in Fusion 360, sieht wirklich alles sehr professionell aus!

This specimen is truly something. From a magnetic PLA armature to Halbach stators with no backiron, this video quietly turns traditional motor physics on its head.
