Superb footage. Pin sharp, lovely colours and great sound. Night footage is particularly impressive. I'm sure you have quality gear, but you (and your team?) defintely know how to use it. Stunningly quick cars, and kudos to the drivers; they weren't hanging about! Also nice to see them in the classic livery. I would love to know just how much quicker they were than anything else.
@@ryunekoyashiki ye, but unless the driver really tries, it seems too stable. Electronic aids do make it faster, but imo it takes the skill out of it. Michele Mouton once said that she and her male counterparts were being pushed to their absolute limits with the Group B cars, and was happy with just running neck and neck with them. I prefer cars that require actual input, not a car with tons of computers that help make up for certain events. Learn to drive or dont get behind the wheel.
These cars are Rallycross Supercars and normally don't have lights in the front, they put the headlights on just for this event but didn't bother with the rear lights. The rear- and brakelights in this video are the same as when they race in rallycross.
@@Alecosaurio Yes that's right. In rallycross they even replace the manufacturer's lights with reflective stickers that look like the original lights. So it's just stickers over glass fibre and no glass or light units at all. Hard to tell from this video but it might just be shiny stickers where the manufacturer rear lights are supposed to be, like they run it in rallycross competitions.
Wayy faster, hard to even compare, this has almost 100 more horsepower and much better weight distribution and weights less, also only built for short 5min races. Just hard to class them the same.
@@AmbientMike don't forget not having to absolutely need to e brake all corners because of the giant understeer. The og quattro had that problem. It was fast in the straight but slow on corners where you can't lcok the rear
@@DukeNuggets69 they never used the e brake. They used left foot braking to lessen the understeer caused by how front heavy the Quattro was. Hans Studt actually used this technique on asphalt to help maintain his tail happy style of driving to get it to *oversteer*
A hint to their heritage in the color scheme and some whistle and bang ! Used to be a huge rally fan but after the wonderful Evo/ Wrx days everything went sterile ! Loeb's dominance was boring. Time for a new league ! The limp wrists can stick with WRC and the wouldbe Ari's can have 750hp limited savagery !😎👍
forse stiamo tornando ai bei tempi.......fino ad ora correvano solo automobiline..mi dispiace per la Lancia ma dall' avvento della dinastia KAN nulla è rimasto della storia italiana...
