Spotted it on the cam at Bridgnorth just before 11am and decided to go to see it at Kidderminster. I arrived a minute after the train arrived, but filmed it running round and departing. Hope to see it again sometime during this week.
Great to see her back running. I saw this loco years ago on display in a now closed yard, then later running on the main was the first steam locomotive I saw from on the track side at work. A sight I always remember when seeing her in steam.
Great to see 60532 back in steam again. The Cat must've been like "now the steam train has gone it's time for you to put your camera away & pet me human!!"
I was on the train when she blew up leaving Durham that night I was totally gutted, still have one of the ball bearing that was sitting on the ground at the side of the track.
Don't think I started filming until I'd heard the whistle. If I can see the guard on the platform waving his flag or blowing his whistle then I stand a chance of catching the loco whistle.
Not sure if there is a "proper" station cat, I think the tabby is a regular one, but the black one may live in one of the nearby houses. I filmed the black one from the footbridge a few weeks ago as it crossed the main line tracks. I always try to film the cats if I see them, always very friendly.
Just checked, the one that crossed the tracks was not the black one, it was mostly black but with white patches, this should show it - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QbloJ4QnNKg.htmlsi=pY_lF2SItzo6htjN&t=144 It was out of view when the next train came.
Always a bit of fun to add something extra in a video. Filmed a cat crossing the main line a few weeks ago when I was up on the footbridge at Kidderminster. Fortunately no trains passing at the time.
@@SharposWorldah right that’s gonna be interesting to see blue Peter standing on display in Kidderminster whilst we watch the three engines attend the Severn Valley Railway spring gala
