Did you see the top decks, magician shuffle or insane luck. Most of his plays were not optimized, and he doesn't know what Gorz do. I don't think he's a modern player, he doesn't have the mannerism to play cards at edges of the board for no reason.
I mean, sometimes we get out of flow in the last games. I was 3-1 had to win to get 4-1 and compete to get X-1 in the end of the tourney, but then in the last match i did 3 huge missplays that lost me game. And i was "man i am an idiot". Yesterday at my local i lost the final becouse i didnt bottomless a sirocco whirlwind, after going 4-0 with NEO SPACIANS and then lost for this. So i am not going to judge the frog player
Amaryllis needs a reprint bad lol that card is expensive. Quite a few cards for Edison format could use a reprint. We just got that good Substitoad reprint 👌🏻
The armory arm + amaryllis play might be incorrect, I think amaryllis gets destroyed before armory arms effect can activate/resolve. I would definitely like to get a judge check in this play, because it did come up for me before in a game 18:27
I think so too, theoretically amarillys is destroyed after damage calculation, while the monster it attacked would still be on the field. Only to be sent there at the end of damage step. So armory arm woulnd be able to check

I sadly didn’t realize this in the moment, but hydropump pinged me about it today “Pretty sure if you attack over ab zero with a monster that has armory arm then you do not get the burn effect from armory arm” A misplay on my end, unfortunately wasn’t caught til now. The correct play was to equip armory to ab zero and crash all of my monsters into it for game.
You are correct! Amaryllis destroys itself in Substep 5 of the damage step, and Armory Arm does not activate until Substep 7 similar to Goyo Guardian. So Amaryllis is destroyed before Armory Arm can burn. Great catch!
