Jay, I don’t know if you read the comments, but I just want you to know, we all appreciate how humble you are. And you aren’t ‘fake’ humble either. You come off as earnest and genuine. It’s makes you a very likeable athlete.
@@keitkoppel2754 If you listened to the conversation Milo mentioned it while talking with Jay. He was being self-deprecating. I'll see if I can get a timestamp if you're interested in hearing it. 3:39 "The highest I ever placed was 10, I was lucky to be 10th" - Milo I was simply responding to Milo's humility, i.e., "Yes, Milo, your highest Olympia placing might have been 10th, but but what an incredible, world class physique - the definition of aesthetic." i Hope that helps and I have no idea what my competition history (none) has to do with paying Milo a compliment - he truly did have a world class physique. Also, noting that someone was the 10th best bodybuilder in the world for a certain year is hardly an insult, although again, Milo was being self-effacing as he was talking with Jay Cutler - a multi-time Olympia winner.
I am pushing the limits to see what would it take for Jay to say: f-off...and see him angry... 😁 Slim chances - when someone is as strong and stable as Jay...nothing will possibly phase him.
You gotta love Milos he speaks his truth and with a smile , but like Jay always says he wasn’t judging so what can he do , Milos keep talking your fire people love it . Jay , thanks for the podcast its great when you have Milos on !!! SR.
Thank you for the hard work you have been putting together for this podcast. Please make Milos a regular, your chemistry is awesome and he is such a fun and educational person to be around!
I understand the “it’s the physique that counts” argument but the level at which you present that physique should absolutely count as it is part of the art form and sport that is bodybuilding. Arnold’s Mantis and Flex wheeler’s splits. The transitions. All part of it.
You guys are so fun to watch. I hate it when it’s over. Whenever you guys could make it work, I’d love for you to get Big Steve on. I’d love to get his insight on the judging.Especially if you could get him to open up about things he normally wouldn’t. Unfortunately the O isn’t in Vegas this year so it will probably be a couple years.
I agree with Milos on judges can't judge 6 guys at once. Why...because when it comes to comparing 2-,3 look how hard they have to look posing over and over. IF it's that hard to judge those, HTH are they judging 30-40-50-60 athletes up there. They aren't.
Milos when he’s on the podcast automatically should be an hour and a half/ two hours. Especially w/ his Arnold classic win w/ Samson today’s podcast w/ him should be closer to two hours… congrats Milos!!
YOH, I ain't heard that name in ages, Mauro Sarni. Man, they don't make them like him and Milos anymore. Back then, I was more into those physique artists that look like me; african descent. But man, Mauro Sarni, Milos Sarcev, Pavel Jablonicky, and Charles Clairmonte were so underrated, man.
The example of posing where beard guy is saying the guys transitions aren't as good but his posing is perfect is so stupid. Take an ice skater for example. When they do their big tricks & land them the judges take note. The judges also take note if they fall on their arse or not after they transition out of their move. Every element of their routine is scrutinized. As a body builder you're on show from the time you walk out from behind the curtain until the time you go back behind it. I swear he plays devil's advocate because he doesn't like agreeing with Milos
This posing topic for the pros is such and easy fix for the IFBB. All they have to do is add a posing round where it's only judged on entertainment. Have simple judging where just for the posing round it's 1 point for excellent. 2 points for Good. 3 points for average. Lower the points the better. Have this simple system in place for the posing round and competitors will have a reason to work on their routines. And although the posing round still might change the outcome of a show where it's just a 1 point difference, in most cases it will not change the outcome of a show. Guys won't be able to move up from 4th place to first just on posing alone and that's a good thing. There's no reason not to have some sort of judging on the posing as an entertainment value. And they can do so without causing guys to win who shouldn't win. If some guys in second place by one point in his posing is gets an excellent score to a guy who's winning who gets an average score, the second-place guy will win. And no one's going to have a problem with that because they're so close anyways physique wise. And you better believe if somebody ever loses a show because his posing sucks, he's going to want to fix that. And that will make the IFBB product that much better for the paying customer. Which can only be a good thing to help grow the "sport"...
Kevin’s posing routine for the 2000 Mr Olympia is what we’re missing in todays bodybuilding. I get goosebumps every time I watch tht routine. Milo’s is not saying the posing has to be scored it’s the bodybuilder himself that should present HIS body to the people regarding his strengths.
No. He is saying it should be scored. Why would any bodybuilder put in the time to make a really impressive posing routine that has no effect on his placing? By scoring the posing routine you're encouraging guys to make an effort.
@@AScaryOrange123 no that doesn’t make sense so cause Samson out poses nick walker does that mean Samson should win? It’s still judging the physique not how spectacular a routine is.
Was cool to hear about the most dominant Olympia showings in your guys eyes. Would be interested to know your thoughts on the most dominant Olympia runs, back to back titles over a number of years and who did that in the best fashion. I’m unfortunately too young to have seen Dorian in his prime but the way Milo’s talks about him makes me interested. I imagine he would have been so dominant until the end of his rain when it was controversial. I know he doesn’t live in the same country but when the opportunity presents itself please try to get Dorian on, as you said yourself when you were coming up he was the dominant one in the sport.
You know this brings up a great podcast topic. How about the top 5 greatest physiques at one time in history regardless of show. For example, them talking about Ronnie Coleman at the 1999 British Grand Prix. Flex Wheeler at the 1993 Arnold Classic. Arnold at the 1974 Mr Olympia. Etc. etc.
I agree with Milos the posing round /night show should be judged as well which allows it to be more engaging. Otherwise just judge “prejudging” and call it a day. Why waste time with posing routine and waiting for the finals. Waste of time.
Phil Did not beat Shawn Pose by Pose, Cut the BS. Phill only won Back poses and they weren’t more dominant that Shawn’s Front poses. Shawn won all 1/4 turns, Front Lat, Front Double, Ab and Thigh, Side chest was debatable and Shawn’s Most muscular is very underrated, he didn’t lose every Pose whatsoever
@@MilosSarcevOfficialRU-vidPageIn my opinion side chest is rhoden's in 2018, ultra dry with crazy shredded glutes and very pleasing upper body. In side chest phil is rounder in the upper but with not that good side legs and glutes, with protruding stomach and less pleasing physique overall in that pose. The pose were 4-4 but rhoden was much more dominant in his 4 won poses than phil in his won poses. Overall rhoden had better wow factor, muscle bellies of phil werent enough, rhoden were with 0 body fat and very aestetich, wider shoulders, tighter waist so the man with better physique won. Finally rhoden posed much better with facility and art. Altought ramy in the finals was the best man in the entire lineup and roelly in preshow was very close to phil for the 2nd.
@@MilosSarcevOfficialRU-vidPage You literally said Pose Brickhead Pose, Play the Tape back. I made the comment as SOON AS YOU SAID IT. Side Chest is debatable, he doesn’t win the side Tri Because his STOMACH AIS EXPOSED. That’s 4/9 poses and he won 1 1/4 turn.. the back relaxed.
Matt, that's a lie. Coach K said he was the most complete. Furthermore, it's not an opinion who's GOAT. This is 100% objective. Delusional people believe it's an opinion.
What’s a lie is you repeating one sentence and ignoring what Coach K said the next 45 seconds…. He talked about Lebrons rights to being the GOAT and how this record separated him form the pack- Matt
@Cutler Cast A claim to being the GOAT does not mean he said he was the GOAT. That's what you said, so yeah, you LIED. With that said, Roy Williams actually said MJ is the GOAT. Bobby Knight said MJ is the GOAT. Doc Rivers said MJ is the GOAT but LeBron has the best career. Jeanie Buss said MJ is the GOAT. 100 college coaches were surveyed in 2018 and were asked about the GOAT debate. 82% said MJ and 18% said LeBron. George Karl said MJ is the GOAT. Actual stats show MJ is the GOAT. The only thing LeBron beats MJ on is Longevity and that's 20 years with 4 rings. vs. 15 years with 6 and 3 of those years with the Wizards during MJ's ceremonial years. All you LeBron 🥜 huggers can be delusional all you want but facts are facts. It's not subjective. YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME. And MJ was much better than LeBron at winning and let's not forget MJ's 2 3peats to LeBron's 0 3peats. I can do this every week with you if you'd like. 😘
