Carol I think you just found your RU-vid Niche. So many of us who are in this situation are looking for answers on how we are going to survive on social security and after retirement. I think its especiallt scary for those of us who are single. I am loving the videos you have been posting about our options. Now for this tiny house…..amazing!!! I love ther personality she has infused into her home. I wish more communities allowed tiny homes. I think they are the perfect answer to the housing crisis.
OnLive tiny homes and the idea of a tiny home community. I think folks are going to start buying up property and developing their own little communities, even off grid with solar and maybe a central well.

just finished watching this brilliant little tiny house probably one of my very favorite one I've ever seen and such a beautiful lady that owns it make me want to own on.
This lady has a perfect this is exactly my endgame get a piece of land and build my own little tiny house on it or get her a shed and turn it into a home.. just like that I'm so jealous to see her do that in a good way.. that is so so awesome I love it I did buy stay the same thing right now I moved out my expensive apartment I've got a small Studio where I live part-time I live out of my van as well and I'm not reaping the benefits of more freedom just like this lady's doing it she knows how to do it that's right..

I own country acreage and wanted to do that ( my land is unrestricted) However the state / county Code department DOES NOT WANT TO HEAR THE IDEA. Been here 20 yrs in single wide mobile but always wanted a Tiny. Too short on money. They want the shed or any dwelling to meet code as a house... Most shed shells are not up to code to start / they are a shed...So after yrs of research and talking to code enforcement I gave up Do Not want to fight government...My mobile is very comfy & I didn't pay $20,000 & no Tiny is this affordable and I have 850 sq ft.. (2&2 split). Taxes on mobile $25.00 yr. Land taxes under $200 yr.. Electric bill under $40 mo usually $20- +... Graceland is a NM shed / barn company that does a real quality build & they ARE built like a 🏡 as close to code. I lived in CA 36 yrs & owned several different places. Could never afford to go back. Don't want to as I'm now a minimalist and have millions of acres of Wilderness just up the road - thats what is important to me. I have 360 degrees of mountain views.

My youngest sister Sandra died a couple of years ago and her daughter Maxanne just had a baby boy so we just gotta meet him and her and show them both are love ❤️😘😍🥰 It’s 300 plus miles out of our way but hey, I’m such a shot dog that I may not get another chance to meet them both so it’s has just gotta happen . We use a plug in oil heater for heat it makes no noise and never dries out your skin an sinus cavity our electric bill went down by 150 dollars a month ❤ thanks for sharing

Inhave used one of those dryers while in vacation. They do take a long time to dry clothes. I am guessing Gail does a lot of personal items by hand and dries them in the bathroom or outside.
If you could get ahold of Gail, maybe mention getting a timer for that adorable tiny fireplace in her bedroom. (I want one too dang it! lol) Set it to start when she lays down and set it to turn it off in an hour or two, or whenever she thinks she might dose off.🦌 If she can't find one, look in the 🎄 Christmas stuff 🧸 at Walmart when the time comes around. I would think it would be near the lights section 🎄 Just a tip, maybe wait until the next day after Christmas is over and get it on clearance! 💖

I am an independent contractor also used to clean homes Years ago. It is wonderful that she had a plan and can retire so nicely. Very happy for her!

I wish our state of eastern Tennessee had villages like this. I retired and would love to buy a tiny home but there's so many places we can't put them. Right now land has just went sky high. Its nuts!!!! I would love to buy my own land. Costs r out of reach for many. I would like to be around others retired and enjoy retirement together. Great interview!!! So.many people have moved to Tennesse that prices have indeed risen there like so many other places. Therr is a site Land Watch. I don't know anything about it only that it supposedly has affordable land. Also, a company in Tennessee, Incredible Homes, has a tiny home village.
Hello Carol, hoping all is well with you and Jessica. I’m happy you touch on the Tiny house 🏡 solution. I’ve been researching and debating what style I would like my Tiny Home and Especially where to park it. Just thinking of Buying my tiny home plus buying land would be expensive. So I’m gonna start on the build first and hopefully after. While still researching for land will find a nice affordable spot. I think that $800 for a spot is a little much when you can see your neighbors from the bedroom it’s too close. No privacy 😚 but You learn as you go. All in all she looks happy in her space. Most of all feeling free too decorate your space as you wish. The best feeling of owning your own is the Freedom you feel of owning a home and Not owning anyone gives you peace of mind. 🥰Carol you never mention The size of her Tiny. I will try to find out next week and put it in the description. If I had a TH I would want to own my own property too. There are still areas where property is still affordable.
Hey Gloria I have a suggestion for you .I notice when you hold your camera you used two of your hands to hold your camera. you should buy one of those stick tripod where you can hold your camer with one hand which will allow you to have another your hands-free.. that's how I make my videos.. just a suggestion my love..
As for the bed upstairs that won't come downstairs anymore I would suggest that you buy one of those blow-up bed this way if you want to move out you can always get let the air out and then your bed is out.. but the blow up bed from Walmart these beds are very strong that's the bet she should have brought for upstairs.. because that bad that she has she moved out has to stay there now..
