Great video sir. You really help me out with my 1975 Ford Maverick. You save me some money and your instructions were easy to follow. 👍👍 I really appreciate it you've got a new subscriber a lot of things I'm doing to my Maverick applied to those mustangs and what working on so I really appreciate it 🙏🏼👍👍
Hey Harvey. I like the intro. This was a great video. Brilliant idea with the pipe and collar. The video was very well filmed too. I can’t wait to see this thing completely painted. Good stuff! 👍
Nice video of the process. One word of caution; it is important that you do not nick the axle with the cutoff tool (or anything else) or it may result in a leak!
I know your video was done a couple years ago but I have a 1969 mustang with the same 8 inch rear diff, Do you remember or know the part number of the seal you installed . No one around my parts stores can tell me . Please let me know if you can ??? Good Video .
Hello .You remove the 4 bolts that hold the retainer plate onto the backing plate .I then used a small slide hammer to pull the axel out .Mine came right out in the video .Sometimes they require a little more force . Hope that helps.
Hello .My car had a humming noise from both sides in the back . I think it would get louder when going around a curve in the road .It was an old used rear differential and probably original bearings from 1968.Still works good and quiet several years later .Drive the car several times a week.
