I had a '68 Goat conv. I bought it from my Mom in '79, She got it in '70 and had no idea it was a tire smoker. "I just thought it was a pretty car" was all She said. Had to sell it in '89, it was in Mom's garage and her new Olds was sitting under a pine tree. It ruined Her paint so I sold the Goat and re-painted Her car. Damn I miss it, but I now have a '72 SS 454 Chevelle. Still that GTO will always occupy a special place in my heart. Kudos Man!
What a find and SAVE! You really should have your own TV show! Congratulations on doing what many only dream of. Thanks for giving this Pontiac new life and making a great video!
Few things can beat the satisfaction of restoring something and making something old and ugly into something refreshed and desirable again. Love the attention to detail on this!
Nicely done . Thousands of hours, tons of patience, persistence and tenacity. Support and encouragement from family and friends. WITHOUT GOD NOTHING HAPPENS THAT IS WORTH ANYTHING!!
i LOVE THIS VIDEO!, I'm doing the same thing to 67 Lemans! Ive been working on since 03. its so awesome that you went from start to finish alot of people start a project like this and never finish. I'm trying to stay motivated to finish the body on my mine all the damn sanding takes forever lol now the damn songs going to be stuck in my head all day lol
A lot of time and work went into that, but the end result is magnificent. Love the paint color, the wheels, and that it's a convertible is that much more fun. Well done!
commendable it's awesome to see dedication at work.... the car is a masterpiece so is the video, I really enjoyed seeing your GTO come back,,,, you've done an amazing job which most men would not even have attempted.. thank you very much for sharing, you are an inspiration for the rest of us guys.
Love it man! I know first hand how much blood, sweat, time and money it takes to do this. I have a 1970 Orbit Orange GTO, that I did mostly inhouse. Sometimes I get sick cause I have so much money in it, but I try not to think about that part of it!
I live in Ireland. I doubt that there's one Pontiac here. But If I could THAT car would be mine. All mine. Go away, its mine. Here, take my sister instead. Oh you like grannies, , I'll give you five or ten camels. Its MINE. Love the attention to detail. I rebuilt a coupla bikes like that. When you're finished, that glass of wine tastes so good. Hoowah!!!
Awsome job! I can see the amount of work and the hours that you've spend on this car and the result is stunning. I have a Opel Manta GT/E most wanted type of this model. It realy needs restoration, but overhere that is way to expensive... only the paintjob is estimated 3500,00 euro......
cool resto man, miss working on my 68 gto. Have to get another gto this inspires me to go for my 4th gto. Job well done.....lmaof at the dude that said the 68 judge wasn't the best car Pontiac made. Judge did not hit the streets til 69.
