+Ricardo Acosta Thank for the comments! I started fitting the first body mounts today. Hopefully I should drive it out of the garage with the cab in place & the front end on. Stills lots of finishing to do but it'll be in place. I'd like to get the bed on early next week.
I basically cut away at the lower section of the truck support until the height was right then looked for strong points that I could build mounts off to the Vic chassis legs.
I always use police P71 Crown Vics that don't have PATS security. If you're using a Grand marquis, civilian Crown Vic or Lincoln Town Car they have it. Post your question in Frame Swap Faction on Facebook. There are some guys who have used PATS equipped vehicles.
+bfrance2002 No. It's the same truck. I started again. I didn't like the non OEM fit & finish of the finer details of the first one using the truck chassis.
+Ricardo Acosta Should get another video up by weekend. The cab is mounted tentatively. I'll finish up a lot of the mounts this week so I can roll it out & get some film.
