Mines a v6 with a bad transmission. I miss driving daily above 260k & 95 mph. Best car ever also, it still drives but needs tcl. Currently garage kept permanently❤

Hopefully, you’ve figured out by now, whether you’ve gotten the car or not; that the factory 4-speed automatic transmission in this particular generation V6, SUCKS. It’s been massively recalled for a defective engineering design, which causes most 4AT’s in the V6 to crap themselves out. You can’t really drive it super hard, especially after high mileage.

@@901beach 03-05 is better but still problematic. 06-07 was improved a lot more, but you should still always be careful and maintain earlier than the recommended intervals

Amen man, had an 01 EX in highschool, first one of my friends to have a car and a license, put 40k+ miles on it before it rotted out on me. Going tomorrow to look at one with 76k on it for $1500, hopefully I end up back in one.

J30 is best with 2.5, I'd go 3 inch on J32/35 tho

@@chrisstiannn9438 For sure bro. I have the same car, and I have a couple of 22 inch tips, which is why I had recommended longer tips. I have a link to the ones that I have, they are Magnaflow brand if you're interested. Theyre rolled tips.

@@StillLifeHomocide it happened on Christmas Day too. 2 days ago I just fixed it, along with some other parts of the exhaust that they fucked up when taking the cat off The exhaust guy said the thief got over $900 for it I paid about $400 for everything, which wasn’t as bad as I expected

All i did was remove the resonators and mufflers go to a exhaust shop and they will do the rest all it is just taking them off and welding pipe in their place

Gotta be auto cause all 1998-2002 V6 Accords never had a manual option for some insane reason

All the 4 cylinders for the 6th gen 98-02 came with 5spd manuals besides the SE model
