This was the only video I could find that walks through how to replace the evaporator. Plan on doing this work myself and i know your video will help! Thank you very much for your time and the video!!
Daniel this is a phenomenal explanation! keep uploading new videos it will help many people around. Now I can do by my self, Thank very much for posting it. New subscriber a board🚀.
@@gramesy777 It looks intimidating but I know you can handle it, once it’s apart you look at the 300 pieces laying around and say to yourself “that wasn’t that bad” 😂
I really want to thank you for posting this video Daniel. I've got a 2013 Avalon and this was really helpful in convincing me I could fix it myself. It was slightly different than your video but close enough. I really appreciate you putting this content out there. It also helps people understand why the labor estimate is so high if they choose to not DIY!
@@superjasonrappaport Very welcome, that’s what I do for a living so why not share the love. I have been coined the Evap guy in the shop. If another technician sells the job he usually offers it to me for the repair 👨🔧
Great Video!! About to start this on my daughter's 07. Only question I have is how much PAG46 oil for the evaporator? I've watched several of these videos and this one is the best by far!
@@im8039 If you buy the evaporator from Toyota $300-$400 it comes with a little bottle and when you get the evaporator out dump the contents in a measuring device and add back into the new one of the amount that came out of the old.
Thank you. One more question, what is the inner diameter of the evaporator drain pipe? The plug of the cleaning agent I bought is not wedge-shaped, so I need to buy it according to the size. Thank you.
