I love this home it has great curb appeal as it reminds me of my mom's farmhouse. Plenty of natural light giving it an open airy feeling. Love the fireplace who wouldn't want to cuddle next to that during the winter when it gets cold outside. Love the dedicated area for the laundry next to the bathroom. I would put in Ikea foldable table down so that when it's not in use it could be put against a wall to give more openness for the kitchen. Love the double porches especially the front with its swing and additional living space. Put a lot of thought into this and making it have all the necessities one needs to live tiny. 👍👍👍👏💋🥰

20x20 would be perfectly comfortable to 2 people. Cabinets to the ceiling, built in drawers in a few steps, built in drawers - add knee walls upstairs. Possibly closets that protrude onto the porches. A butches block for an island with a shelf under. Great layout. Most need more storage unless it's a weekend stay.

Well done, Jasper! The wide open space of the living area allows for alternate furniture placement, like the table under a window, with a loveseat facing the fireplace. The Master is large enough to accommodate all that storage AND a desk or loveseat. Love the stairs, too! What a great floorplan to ring in the New Year! Thank you! I would do something different with the bathroom, and take away the washer/dryer and add the single unit that does both. I would need a bathtub/shower combo. Love the design though and use of front/back porch. back porch I would screen in and have roll away cots for guests during warm months.

Lovely and enchanting the whole enchilada in one Casita. The only thing I would change is the wallpaper to suit my style.

This is adorable. I love the addition of the two porches. It makes this house a home. I bet you could split the upstairs into 2 small rooms to get a 2nd bedroom or create a home office. Someday, you might even add some screening to the back porch and really expand your enjoyment of the property. The architecture and real estate communities are failing to address the needs of the people. I've see several really clever tiny houses recently that show that the people want affordable single family homes for small families that they can invest in while handling their financial obligations. The McMansion trend is just not what people want or need starting out. Trailers and cramped apartments are alienating. People want something they can feel good about at an affordable price. This particular design reminds me of a small historic house I saw that really wowed me. I was the Revel House in NJ. It was plain and small, but made good use of the space and showed how little you really need.

The LR, DR, and kitchen are too crammed together, and that wallpaper would make me nuts in an hour.

I'm enjoying your designs very much. One thing I think would be neat to see is an island with stools rather than a diningroom table. For example, in this home, the diningroom table is very close to the kitchen work space and the coffee table of the livingroom. It would be interesting to see an island parallel to the kitchen work space with stools or chairs tucked under the island side closest to the livingroom. Two or three stools would be enough. In my home, I have the sofa pulled out into the middle of the room looking out the view. Behind the sofa I put an 18" table which runs the length of the sofa. I tuck a basket of blankets under the table and my wicker file boxes. If company comes and I need more dining space, I use three chairs at the sofa table (I hide my file boxes in my bedroom if the space under the table is needed for eating guests. The basket of blankets gets pulled out into the livingroom for guests to help themselves.) I think it would be neat to see these two space saving tricks in your videos. HINT: The table behind the sofa could be one that flips open or slides open to double the size of the table top. This is great for puzzles or even pulling the table away from the sofa and adding even more chairs to double the number of guests who can eat at the table. Pushed up against the sofa it's a "breakfast/lunch/supper bar" and pulled out it would be the size of a dining room table which is the length of the sofa. Thank you for your wonderful videos. By the way, I love the idea of putting the toilet in the shower with a curtain to divide so it doesn't get wet during a shower. I've been trying to sort out how to use less space for a bathroom myself and appreciate your creativity.

This is the most awesome one I have seen yet. Well done! I love the bedroom. I am claustrophobic. I can't sleep in a loft with the ceiling right above my head. Bravo.

Also, I would like to point this out to you owners of tiny homes. If you can buy a piece of land and put your tiny house on a real foundation, you are in a very advantageous position. First try to get your house hooked up to water and sewer, whether it's city supplied water and sewer, or a well and septic, plus electric. These things can be done in stages, as you can afford them if need be. Then, you are in a great position to add an addition to the back or side of your tiny home. It's a good idea if you plan this at the beginning of building your tiny home so it goes together as seamlessly as possible and saves you money. Specifically, assuming you are building a 2-story addition, try to locate the stairs of the original tiny home in the center of your little home so that access the new rooms in the addition will be easy - generally one room on the left, and one room on the right, both connected to the central stairs. You can add bedrooms on the second floor and a family room/dining room/office, etc. on the first floor, depending on your needs, as you can afford them. Some of the work you may be able to do yourself. Eventually, you will have a larger house without having gotten yourself into a huge mortgage debt. Building your house in stages is a great way to build your assets and maintain control of your finances.

The outside and the house are adorable. The change I would have made is to place the washer dryer in a closet in the bedroom. The area freed up would then be used fora full size refrigerator . Where the refrigerator had been could be extended for a full size stove and oven.

Really like this house. I would remove the dinette set, replace it with a kitchen island with bar stools and cabinets underneath facing the kitchen, and the oversized chairs with a loveseat and chairs facing the fireplace with a TV over the mantel. I would also redesign the bathroom so the toilet isn't in the shower area and put high-end appliances in the kitchen, and put a skylight over the stairs and hang wall art there.

It's very cute on the outside & inside, my recommendations would be to make chairs smaller & put TV above fire place since most people watch TV in their living rooms. Also downstairs bathroom should be a 1/2 bath & an on-suite with soaking tub upstairs would make this place perfect

Wonderfully simple design. All needs met in a beautiful way. Negative comments about wallpaper, etc...the decorative styling is entirely up to the person who would own this house. This should not have to be explained.

*Putting the decor aside for a moment, EVERYTHING works but the bathroom. Think I might go for a bigger shower and get a flush with an integrated sink instead. Otherwise an excellent use of a small footprint.....love the two porches.*

Great example of So many possibilities. Upstairs I would do on one wall or the other,maybe both..A complete built in closet system for hanging and shelves. Deep for hanging in the middle and shallow on both sides for folding and shoes and what not. Tons of storage. Or keep it minimalist like it is,but not my choice of furniture. Open low shelve on other side of the bed and knee wall for tv and more storage. It seems pretty spacious but may be smaller in person. Nice!

Very pretty, but there’s no storage. Where do you hang your wet coat and put your boots when you come in? I love the shape and the outside, but you need to get creative with cupboards etc! Looking forward to seeing more 👍🏻

Practically the kitchen has to narrow space for comfortable standing and cooking. A simple furniture fix, so that's doable. The shower in front of the toilet is just nuts because you have to wipe the floor dry before you can access the toilet (or get wet socks/feet). Put the toilet where the sink is and add a slim sink on the outer wall in the center, while the shower takes the space where the toilet is now.

I really love everything about the place, beautifully furnished. Disappointing to me, was visual of tiny bathroom--i was unable to make out the shower or bathtub setup...only because I want to build one in my back yard, just wanted a truer picture if what it would be. Great charm and beauty, porches fully utilized, who wouldn't want to live there?

Looks like there might be room for a bench/coat hooks just inside the door. And I would squeeze in a half bath in the bedroom for those late night runs -again it appears there might me just enough room to do so.

Absolutely lovely in and out. I would definitely change the interior design…too much and too big furniture, and doesn’t match the serene feel of the structural build. No place to walk downstairs, and upstairs has a completely different vibe, felt completely detached.

👌↗It's a beautiful small house design that persons can pick and choose about the color of the house that they want and persons can also pick the color/s they want their walls and cabinets and flooring to be; and other luxuries built and or put inside the house of their choice, persons can pick the style and color of the sink/s, tub, toilet etcetera persons can pick and choose what they want in the house of which paying for to have designed as they desire.

Outside was cute. Inside was a disaster! Wow!.

Never thought of putting a toilet in the shower. A table a couple of feet from the kitchen counter seems like it would be tough to work in the kitchen. These tiny homes get smaller and smaller and more and more expensive and the layouts get exceedingly stranger. The trendy decor and upbeat music is meant to make living in something the size of a walk-in closet more palatable, but just doesn’t.

This helped me to visualize how l was going to install bathroom and kitchen in 200sf
