I’ve got the same OBD 2. My android tablet will connect but won’t do the buzz test. Everything else work ls until I get to that point. Says settings not correct or something
for the valve cover harness for injectors it is good practice to replace them with motorcraft ones if you see any oil in the outer connectors or even if it just has a great deal of miles on that gasket harness
I tried this exactly how you did, app kept saying "busy repeating request" and did NOT do a buzz test....it did pop a 1293 and 1294 codes. Any idea why the buzz test didn't work? Bad idm? Thanks, cool vid!
There are procedures that you can do with a multimeter testing resistance from the valve cover gasket connectors to the idm, if those test good then likley bad idm
