@Myles Mulindi so if its a team sport and u have to share the ball, how come the big guy hasn't touched the ball once on offense the entire vid, even though he was open in the post for an easy bucket. we don't see the whole game here, but if you got a dominant center with a clear height advantage, then you use that to set yourself up for winning. thats like having shaq on your team, but instead your guards are forcing drives through traffic and having shaq just watch it unfold
If a 7'9 dude is standing right next to the basket and has position, someone should tell #1 to pass him the ball and don't ball hog it. All he had to do is turn around and drop it in the basket. :)
Possibly the coach of that team: “We have a giant hovering over the hoop, make sure a short white man takes a low percentage shot instead of passing it to him”
When you are Sun Ming Ming's size, its harder to be coordinated, and it takes a lot of energy. Thats why some people say Yao Ming was amazing. Most people his size can't run up and down the court, or be as coordinated as him.
That's what I saw too. A good PG exploits your team's biggest advantage. If I were his PG, I'd be finding every way to set him up. He actually looked reasonably skilled, mobile, and tactically aware.
He has a bad coaching staff. 0:45 why is he practicing shoots from outside or fake dribles. He should be practicing moves on the paint. And then why isnt the ball always in his hands. I would just put him inside waiting the guards would spread the floor and give him the ball.
See this just shows people always whant the attention on their self. WTF they didn't pass once to the big chinese boy. This shit is stupid and beyond me.
Best height for basketball player is 6ft 6 inch, above that you can't be good at running and jumping and your reaction speed will be slow, judge players by skills not by height.Sometimes being small is better.
The coach and other players (which means it's on the coach) has no idea at all how to use this guy. If he doesn't get away from that type of league, he will always be at that level. He would have benefited by coming over earlier on for college ball to work on the basic skills. Unlike some of the other ultra-tall players, he has body mass and would be harder to push around under the basket. There is, or was, potential and getting close to 8 feet tall is where it starts.
the best part was the guy was guarding thought he was going to bring him outside the paint and shoot but he big he still was able to contest the shot from the paint. Then he tried to attack him the dribble and got that shit smacked lol
I remember Yao Ming as a rookie,,, elbows , he'd run up the court n the ball was on its way back,,,, then by ur 3 the lite switch clicked on n what ass kickin he did
saw this dude play in rochester a few years back. ridiculous. lost the jump to a 6'8'' forward! couldnt even run down the court and one of his shots got stuck between the rim and backboard. most embarrassing performance of all time
