In reality it is neither a square nor a circle but actually a blend of each (so basically a rounded square) however the trick is in that in one side the top arches up and the other it arches down. Because of this when the up arches face you it hides stuff and makes it look like a square, but when the low arch faces you, you see more and you mind corrects to a circle. Cool stuff!

These tables look different size but actually the same size because this trapezoid can fit both of them cuz if you flip it that size the table will be that side then you put that cardboard on the other table that's flip it it will be the exact same size

i think i know how he did the circle red in real life and white in the mirror. i think on the inside of the circle there is half red and half white. same thing on the outside. if you look closely enough you can see the ridges of a different color
I think quirkology was supposed to be a TV show but it wasn't aired so the creators decided to release the show in small clips voilà this explains the low quality
