Hi ,I want to know can we check this below location in our device as I tried I didn't find,acc. To definition of method it is stored in filesystem so where is this? ,String dirtPath=getFilesDir().getAbsolutePath(); File videofile=new File(dirPath+"/"+"test.mp4");. Now I downloaded video on this url using PRdownloader,my another query is in attached screenshot this file is not able to search ,pls correct me

Thanks for this great tutorial. I just have one question. What is the best and safest way to save the retrieved auth token for a production app?

You can save it in SharedPreferences, no issue. Because it is in your user's phone and token is received after a successful login. Saving it just in your apps private storage, that other app cannot access is ok. I will use datastore to save it, the new library that is released to replace SharedPreferences.

Hi, Thanks For the Tutorial, it's really nice. I am almost a year late to implement the same, still, I am hoping if you could answer my question. Question: In the Previous Part(#6) We have declared a lateint property "remoteDataSource" in "BaseFragment" But we never Initialized that one. And that is why I am unable to run the app, as soon as I launch that app I am getting "UnInitializedPropertyAccessException". Am I missing something? And When I am downloading the source code to check for the same then "BaseFragment" class is not There in the UI folder". Please Suggest!!

READ_SMS is a sensitive permission and google nowdays don't approve apps with read sms permission easily. You need to justify why you need this permission and tell your users clearly that you are reading their sms.

12:18 That's the problem I am facing with Laravel, sometimes any unexpected error occures and application crashed. Suppose I'm using Laravel validator or php artisan down - server down so, we have to think alot of scenarios in that situations. Laravel redirects to 404 page and its webpage not api response. One more addition:- I am doing android development from past 1 year in java. I found kotlin difficult to understand 😂. Maybe it's my misconception or maybe not.

But here application didn't crash correct? We got the error message, and that should happen. You need to handle the cases and show your user proper error message. Kotlin is easy, and way way better than Java. Just try it for 1 month.

@@SimplifiedCoding I'll definitely try it. In java I know how to create modal class, when to create constructor, how to manipulate viewmodel and most important a good practice. In kotlin I have to first identify how I can do all tasks which I am doing in java easily. Syntax is dangerous 😂

You need to change your attitude bro, because if you won't keep learning and updating yourself even surviving in this industry will become a struggle. Be cool and learn, its nothing impossible. After a while you will also realize it was a good decision you made.

@@SimplifiedCoding Hii, I'm facing one issue. I am working on app like dream 11, on that I have to calculate user rank, distribute winning amount and refund when content has not sufficient user. Currently I'm doing all these tasks on REST API call when user comes on dashboard. But I want to make it automatic. Whenever score change(external api for calculating score) it reflects the database and also update user rank and winning amount on contest table. Automation is big issue I'm facing in PHP MySQL

It is not an attack to you Bro'... I would like to understand How the F this " private val _loginResponse: MutableLiveData = MutableLiveData() val loginResponse: LiveData" should be better than javascript or python or even JAVA ? are two bloody "val" .... Kotlin is a way to verbose IMHO. I spent the last 4 hours and I do not see any light yet to make a Fking http call :(
