Too much crime, too many scammers and con artists in Houston and the law enforcement doesn't seem to care. Glad I escaped with only having my truck stolen out of my driveway. Anyone needing home security do not go with AAA Guardian Security. They are horrible as well. I only lived there 2 years and I could write a book based off all my bad experiences with scammers and shady businesses
A lot of factual errors. (I've lived in Houston since 1977.) Also some of the "neighborhoods" are 20 and 30 miles from "downtown' and are as much a part of Houston as Bedminster, New Jersey is to New York City, or as Palo Alto, CA is San Francisco, CA.
Why would anyone want to move to an area that floods? At the 9:00 minute mark you show a neighborhood that's under water, but still talk it up as being an area that everyone loves! Your presentation has lost all credibility!!!
I live in No. 1 Cinco Ranch! It is very nice out here on the westside of Houston. We're sort of in the extended Katy, TX area. Yes we had to deal with Hurricanes Harvey and more recently Beryl. We recovered from both. Make sure you have flood insurance!
Honorable mention - Bridgeland community in Cypress Tx, north west of Houston. It is an up and coming master planned community built by the same developers as The Woodlands.
The Heights, Montrose, and Museum District are THE locations for those who value the minimization of car dependency and proximity to cultural amenities. None are mentioned in this video.
Those areas are overpriced , not so family friendly and get hit hard by our storms every time. I prefer to live safely in the trees with acreage and visit downtown when I’m in the mood.
