Repenting isn’t all that you gotta do. Many people will begin to mistake that “ok if I repent he’ll forgive me I can do it again” it’s to repent, have faith that your forgiven and turn away completely from your sin. Otherwise you’ll begin to take advantage of God’s grace
Repent does NOT mean to turn from sin in the case of salvation Repentance is transliterated as metanoia meaning change of mind: The Greek prefix "meta" means change (think metamorphic rock), while the Greek prefix "noia" means of the mind (think paranoia). So repent means a "change of mind" Jonah 3:10 says "And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not." (KJV). God sees turning from sins as WORKS, which we are not saved by AND God repents. God doesn't turn from sin, he changes his mind. Therefore repent (Mark 1:15, Luke 13:3, Acts 2:38, etc.) and believe are two sides of the same coin: one implies that the other is done. If I believed on Jesus, I've already repented. Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
There’s no need to worry about making it to heaven. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” Ephesians 2:8 When we are saved we are sealed in Christ. It is his work and sacrifice that we are saved. This doesn’t mean just keep sinning though. It means to trust in him for our salvation and do good works simply to please him and show our light to the world.
You don't need to be scared for your salvation, this guy is preaching a false works based gospel, once you're saved by grace through faith alone, you're sealed and guaranteed heaven.

I am 3 days in with no porn or masturbation. Ive also given up the other sin ive struggled with, which is my anger. In anger, i had cussed and taken the Lord's name in vain, unfortunately more times than i can count. 3 days also, without any of that. I plan turn turn that 3 days, into 3 weeks without swearing, without taking the lords name in vain, without porn and without masturbating. Then i will go onto 3 months, and 3 years without those sins. I will go to 3 decades without the sins i have struggled with, all in the name of Jesus Christ, because faith without works is dead. I truly love Jesus, so i will follow his commandments to the absolute best of my ability. I'm giving my all now, not to break a single one of his commandments anymore, especially the ones that i have broken the most.
once you’re saved, you are saved. nothing can take that away. BUT that does not mean to go on sinning and abusing Gods grace. when you are saved, you receive the Holy Spirit, and your wants and desires start to change and you want to live more Holy for God. that is where the works come from, the Holy Spirit inside of you.

Worrying about where you will go in the afterlife will consume you if you don't have faith. If you ask for forgiveness, and repent from your sins, you will be made right with god. He is a god of love and a fair judge. Just remember this.
i have just recently repented a few days ago and made a vow to myself and Jesus that i want to stop my lustful ways for good and NEED to hold myself to that vow. i am so sorry for abusing Gods grace for so long and i pray it’s not too late to be forgiven. But, once we are saved, we should strive to walk in the spirit-not to be saved, but to respect our positional nature as a saved believer and to profit God’s kingdom here on earth. While we have our second fleshy nature, we will sin every single day until we die. We will always fall short in our flesh. But we can encourage one another that our inner man, our second nature, is pure and blameless and one day will receive an incorruptible body. But once you really and truly believe in God, your life is a reflection of the things he/we believe(s). Such as, getting rid of all bitterness and rage, or no longer stealing. We are not condemned once we believe because true belief cleanses us from sin. However, lukewarm christian’s who’s attention is divided between two masters does not fall under this category. We all sin and fall short of God’s glorious standard, but as long as we truly believe and try our best, God will do the rest.

Wow that dream you told us about, made me think about me, i had a yeast infection for 2 years . I think ive had it for 2 years but my body adapted to it i think, and THAT is what led me to God i cried to God asking for forgivness and healing to clear the build up. Its madness what i went through. I dont even want to think about it.

when i was agnostic before i had messages from the lord and a personal experience with jesus i never felt conviction after masturbating, and lust was definetely my avenue of tempation and most likely was my ticket to hell. but 2 weeks ago i was reborn after praying the sinners prayer with every fiber in my being, lots of tears have been shed since then i feel like i have my whole life to grieve the fact that i have been missing out on jesus and god this whole time. but most importantly after feeling his presence i know that masturbation is ungodly and a sin because his presence moves away when you do it and the guilt really does come in. ive read many posts or videos saying it isnt a sin but as a new devoted christian i can tell you it is, his presence begins to falter and you will begin lusting more and that will lead to mental anguish/depression and other forms of sin to mask the emotional pain.
As someone battling a porn addiction I don't think many Christians understand that we can't "just stop". It's not so simple with addiction. It's a daily fight and I have to find rest in God's promises that my victory over it is His will
Praise the Lord. Once we believe, we are eternally and irrevocably saved. Nothing can take us out of his hand. But we have two natures: our flesh nature and our inner man. The flesh will sin until the day we die, every single day. We have to, as you said, rest in Christ and not worry. He is there for you during this battle. We will fall short every single day because of our dual nature. We are called to encourage each other and remind one another that in these battles, he still loves us, we are his sons, and nothing and no one can ever take away our salvation that is in Christ Jesus. Yes repent, but remember no one will ever arrive to sinless perfection while in our human bodies on this earth, no matter how much we have repented. Do what’s right but remember all we can do is turn and repent but even then you will still make sin mistakes along the way so do not be misled by people in the comment section who seem as if they repented and never sinned since, lol not true. Greetings guys. I was addicted to this that it destroyed me at a young age. Friends, I hate porn and it will be even great to hate it more. I'm 17 now and because of lust, I became sick, catching an illness. I don't know what illness is in me, but I became sick. Because of porn I had regrets, had depression, had guilt, I had problems sleeping, blaming me and other people for what MYSELF did. Especially when you are young, my friends please hate it and seek Jesus. Please heal.

It’s important that we flee from lust but we’re saved my Christ alone. Don’t think that fleeing from lust means we’ve earned Heaven. If we’re working to fulfill the law to enter into Heaven then we lose the righteous we have in Christ. Galatians 5:4
If you say the way you act will send you to Hell, instead of simply trusting in Jesus to bring you to heaven: then it will be as you say and you’ll get judged. Trust Jesus alone and there is no condemnation.

Yea bro im struggling with lust too. I had a crush on this older 40 something yr old woman and I ended up approaching her told her I found her attractive and she gave me her number. We ended up hanging out a few times but the 2nd and 3rd time I fell into lust and we were kissing and touching each other. Everytime I ended up regretting it badly and I would fast and tell her I didnt want to hang out anymore. She got mad and thought I was overreacting and I was sort of but even after expressing my feelings of attraction I regret that I spoke to her about it. Trying to go about this the Christ like way cause I did sort of lead her on but now regret ever meeting her.

I pray for you brother but understand that lust won’t send you to hell, please understand that Christ has saved you even if you fall into lust. Salvation is not of your doing, you cannot tell God I didn’t give into lust so let me into heaven
