Greetings from the mountains of southern California. Everything you say is true to my experience of over 37,000 miles since 2019 but ... I think the fuel gauge is reasonably accurate once riding for just under a minute. Mine flashes a warning with at least 2-3 liters left. I think that's a very good thing. At 36k miles my speedometer cable cracked from flexing. This is my only (ONLY) breakdown. I say this is excellent quality overall
NIce one, I have had INT for 4 plus years now, agree with most of your points, Yes it does heat up, thank God I didnt have the wobbling problem but most others do, I did change the seat else cant tour, closing on 1lakh KM, couldnt be happier :) Cheers
4+ plus years! Wow! Glad you could relate to the video as an actual owner for such a long period. Hope to see you again on the channel! Ride safe & do subscribe and share! :)
As a newbie youtuber, I appreciate you for the effort. It did put things in perspective to an extent. But, going forward if you try to give a standard for the data that your actually basing yours cons upon that would make it more of an informative and helpful video.
My Interceptor... in Ravishing Red ! is a excellent machine... perfect ? No... I fully agree it's a bit hefty in the parking lot, but it fades away once on the road.. I simply tell others it's the 650 all other manufactures wanted to build in the pass 70 years. :)
Glad you found my video useful bro! Before completely disregarding the bike I would recommend you to go and test ride it! Also Do subscribe if you haven't already! :)
How about a chain driven oil pump? One guy made a video about his seizing his engine so bad it couldn't be taken apart. RE gave him a new motor. They should have given him a new one and let him keep the old one for parts. Gear drive Oil pump on my 60 year old Triumphs TR-6 works fine. I doubt any RE 650 will still be running in 60 years.
Can you tell us what is your height and if a 5 Ft 6 rider can handle its weight specially with a really hot engine sticking out and with the awkward positioning of the footpegs
