When do you pour the next color how solid does the bottom layer have to be and do you have to remelt your wax as you wait for the others to harden?

Thank you for watching!! You need to wait at least 30 min in between layers depending on how hot your pouring and the type of wax your using. Yes you would need to keep re-melting the wax for each layer.

Can you melt that wax in the microwave? Is it soy wax?

Thank you for watching! The ounces depends on your container the container in the video is a 14oz dollar tree container so I’m using to 2 ounce per color.

Hello, thank you for watching! We actually make our own wicks. we buy the spools of wicks yarn at hobby Lobby. Then we cut yards of it put it inside the hot wax for 15 minutes, remove it and put it on wax paper to dry, then we roll it up for using when needed. We cut it to size depending on the size of the jar.

How long do you wait in between pours? In other words how long does or take for each layer to solidify before pouring the next layer.

Thank you for watching 😊 it could take about 25 min for each layer to solidify but that all depends on your wax temperature and your room temperature. I have day it set fast I have others that takes a while.
