Sorry but these trucks are too early !! Trucks are made for towing, hauling. Unless you can tow and get 400 miles on a charge it's not worth it especially at these ridiculous prices. Pretty soon you'll have 2 mortgages one. For your home one for your truck..
I don’t like it! After the Florida flood and all the Tesla’s catching on fire 🔥 just because of salt 🧂 water 💦 doesn’t make me feel comfortable buying an expensive car knowing about what’s coming in the future and think about the salty 🧂 roads in the winter I am sorry 😞, but situation for and electric ⚡️ car doesn’t look 👀 good.
What do you do with the junk when it will no longer take a charge? Not even the local dump will take my old battery powered yard tools that no longer will take a charge.
What need to happen is our country needs to get our infrastructure geared towards EV on the interstate system (every rest area). As for small pickup trucks. I have been driving Lincoln vehicles MKC and MKX, and I am about ready for a new vehicle. I am very interested in a small, but well designed, electric pickup with 400 miles of range. All the nice accessories, with a roomy back seat, yet off road capable with at least 5000 pound towing capacity, and AWD or 4X4, with at least 20 inch wheels, and 10 inch ground clearance. That 30k to 45k price point would be great.
If you buy an electric vehicle you better save your gas vehicle also, because you are going to need something to drive when the already stretched power supply in this country doesn't have enough capacity to charge your electric car or truck so you can get to work in the morning.
