For 1, it was for the money. You would keep killing people who would pay to respawn and then kill you who would then pay to respawn. 2, angel could have very well removed jacks newU data to prevent him from coming back. 3, if she didn't then it's obvious that he didn't want to be unable to reproduce. It clearly states you lose your right to reproduce. Not to mention the possibility of extra limbs or lack thereof. Hes handsome jack after all

I was wondering why Faro Corp wasn't here. Granted its a PlayStation game but WOW its one of the WORST apocalypse scenarios I've heard of in fiction. The Faro plague coupled with operation enduring victory was truly horrifying as you uncovered it piece by piece in the game.

The dumbest thing WY did was try to trick people into being infected by the xenomorph, instead of just hiring some well prepared contractors to capture and recover the specimen. Throw in some hush money or a fireing squad to great them upon return and your set.

They went rogue in the first game and after Shepard wrecked their highly illegal projects, reemerged as a full blown terrorist group allegedly dedicated to the alleged advancement of humanity. The whole Reaper control business came after Shepard's successful mission to stop the Collectors.

The consuming power part of the doors is weird and nonsensical, but the fact they open when the power fails is not. Those are doors that are designed to "Fail Open", presumably in that whoever is inside the office doesn't become trapped if the power fails, such as in the event of a fire. If they were "Fail Close", they'd be great against the animatronics, yeah, but otherwise whoever was inside would be trapped until power was restored which in some cases, like a fire, would be very, very bad.

@@talltroll7092 Since those people are presumably both Reaper indoctrinated, one has to wonder if the purpose of breeding Rachni was to introduce a force into the galaxy which can't be negotiated or allied with, since if there were a galactic Rachni war at the same time the Reapers showed up you'd have half the galaxy that was unable to even consider the idea of putting their differences aside to stand against their common enemy. Its probably not a huge stretch to imagine that part of that plan could even be to enslave the Rachni to the Reapers the same way they did to the Collectors.

Yes, the Vaults were all an elaborate conspiracy by Vault-Tec and the government to perform isolated (not controlled, because they weren't) experiments on various populations to see how they'd survive (or not) in a variety of rather contrived scenarios. And all it took was ending the whole world to get the whole thing started. So their whole plan relied on the destruction of civilization. Either because it was inevitable and they knew it, or because they caused it on purpose, themselves. Either way, instead of preserving and nurturing the last remnants of human civilization like they said they would, they subjected them to experiments which killed most of the survivors, and drove most of the rest crazy. Because when there's almost no people left, surely that's the best use of those limited resources. And what did they learn? Who even are they? Because by all accounts, they're all long dead, and didn't seem to benefit at all from whatever these experiments were supposed to reveal. And it's not like there was any profit in it, because civilization itself ended before it even began, so their money, if they ever made any, was worthless before the experiments even happened. Even the survival of mankind and the existence of non-mutated strains of humanity of use to the Enclave were incidental results of the Vault project, not part of their original purpose. Which is elusive, to say the least. It's not a stretch to say that everyone running Vault-Tec was probably insane, which explains a lot about the Fallout universe.

Vault tec looks to have been engineered as a way to usurp world power by making a new world government and military although almost all their military projects were cataclysmic failures. They had or seemed to have a unique outlet in each vault that on its own isnt too substantial but combined with others would likely make quite a complex system if it had worked out. In lamens terms a perfect world however those visions of ultimatum rarely work out.

They have no idea what might be out there or the situations that might occur on such a ship, so they ran experiments to see what people might do. They probably had big plans to run those experiments; the war just accelerated them.

I would include the Institute, since Father's super cool plan to experiment with your release from the cryotube ultimately resulted in his death and the total destruction of his underground evil genius lair. Moral of the story: don't release an angry parent bent on revenge.

Technically Team Plasma Grunts' Pokemon are weak since it's the ones that they "liberated" from the normal people on the towns that are conveniently the same level as yours during progression.

Half of the teams would destroy everything we know. Team Magma & Aqua would either create a desolate wasteland or Waterworld by waging war between Groudon and Kyogre. Team Galatic wants to play god and reshape the universe with Palkia and Dialga, which could easily backfire. Team Flare wants to intentionally cause the end of the world with Xerneas and Yvetal.

I forgive Team Rocket for this since their standard pokemon are primarily for thieving, not battling. Why Rattatas and Ekans instead of Raticate and Arbok? Because they're smaller and can fit into tighter spaces. Yondu: "Good fer thievin'"

Team Yell is a "spare time" hobby of some Spikemuth Gym staff, and their pokemon are always at or below your level. Keep in mind that they're gym *Number 7 of 8* and you always annihilate them. Y

Cerberus is *technically* a separate entity from the various legitimate businesses they own, so not really an “evil corporation” in the same way the ones on the list are.

The clone didn't have friends like Shepard did, only hired minions (it's implied that this is the reason why Shepard was able to defeat the clone). Or, as TV Tropes might say, "What kind of power is heart, anyway?" In the end, TIM's plan worked. Shepard did end the Reaper invasion... just not the way TIM expected. (Also, technically, Cerberus wasn't a corporation, it was a pro-human extremist group. Though I'm sure they had plenty of corrupt executives in several different companies secretly funneling money to Cerberus.)

By in game Lore figures like Conway are their villains in their games and not their heroes. The memories that we experience as part of the game we play are not exactly what Abstergo releases in the games they create based off of those memories.

They're not an evil corporation, just a Foundation of scientists which also made a bad mistake but not with evil intent.
