A Special Thank You must go out to LarryBundyJr for his Awesome input when it comes to this video and for recommending the GTA and Driver Easter Eggs. Thanks Larry :) ru-vid.com
"Hay the easter egg hunter you now there is a easter egg was from lego lord of the rings?" "But there is a hidden easter egg in the game?" "First you pick up the small hobbit take to the isengard place to onlock the secret waepin form there?" "Than you standing there to 2 minutes than secret waepin was onlock and you have onlock a easter egg right now?" [Thanks for reading this]
Hitman 2 has the recipe for a cocktail hidden in one of the levels. It's a playful jab at Andy Farrant of Outside Xbox, who was quite vocal about his dislike of the Colorado level in the first game and was asked by one of the developers what the *worst* things to put in a cocktail would be. As a result the starring ingredients include raw egg and celery, and Andy did actually try it.
Agreed, and I don't even care for that game and I still agree with you that a talking horse as a standard game feature would be great. Not many development teams does that.
There's a "secret" roast in Postal 2: Paradise Lost where you get an achievement for pissing on a copy of Postal 3 laying on the ground because of how bad the game performed.
one of my favorites is one from Donkey Kong Country 2. During the Video Game Heroes scene, abandoned red sneakers and a laser gun can be seen as a jab at Sonic and Earthworm Jim
There’s actually two moments I can think of. 1. Kingdom hearts 3 referring to itself as 2.9 making fun how the majority of the recent released were decimal points. 2. The series of achievements between the dead rising series, left 4 dead, and dead island. (Zombie hunter)
I remember when rockstar took a jab at true crime calling it trash (truegrime) and in turn the first taxi mission in true crime NYC marcus takes a jab at the ridiculous RC missions present in the gta series
Stump joke was actually funny. But I can see how people that were casual gamers wouldnt pick up on the joke... Well, no actually how do you think there's over 100 discs? These people all deserve to feel embarassed for not getting it. Guacamelee was cringe, and then responded with pettiness. Game quality aside, developers really ought to know that their behaviour does have an impact on how likely their games are to be bought. Having humility and maturity even when you did nothing wrong? Cool. Dedicating a portion of your game to making fun of "haters" when you did something lame? Save that shameful behaviour for the drama youtube channels. That Witcher one was awesome!
@@TheEasterEggHunter Same here, buddy. Same here. And I wish they’d do a remaster or release Curse of the Monkey Island on consoles. I enjoyed the Telltale episodic adventure though. Wish the series had more devoted followers.
I actually kinda like the reference because the word "damn" was used despite it being from a kid friendly puzzle game of sorts. The meta humor of the first three games is still great even to this day. Shame about "Escape".
I read somewhere it had something to do with David Bowie, but I didn't realise it was from Labyrinth :( and I like that film. Thanks Artie for the info :)
Oh yeah and then in True Crime Streets of NY, Marcus mentions about the missions you do for Zero in San Andreas after he starts driving the Taxi for Freddy
you know i never really mentioned this, but your intro music is so chill i could listen to it for hours. is there a link to it somewhere? if yes pls send it to me (and maybe add it to your describtion, yes i read those crazy ik lol)
Sure thing, I have just started putting the music tracks within the description again, but here is a link for you to save time. James. www.pond5.com/royalty-free-music/item/54331588-light-ambient-background
Pretty sure James just trolled us all. There were only 6 entries. Technically if you count the 3 different instances in between Rockstar and Reflections it comes to 7. But it's the last entry of the video it's after putting up the number 6.
There's another roast in GTA San Andreas. In a cemetery in San Ferrio the tombstones read "RIP All Oppositio 2001-2007" or something like that. Been awhile since I played GTA San Andreas.
fun fact: you can find more refernces to 'Allan, please add detail' in Hitman 3 as well! the first one that comes to mind is on Dubai, as a sticky note on a white board!
Not sure if anyone else has pointed it out, but Sonic Mania also has an easter egg kind of reference. When defeating the Eggman boss before heading for the flying fortress, the loud sound coming from the tv is a reference to when there was a sound bug issue during the Sonic 25th anniversary celebration
The Guacamele "haters" were 100% correct in this instance, and trying to put the pin of shame in them would seem petty and wounded if anything, but I'm sure it's all in good humor
Did you set this up for you to roast yourself later? Is that why you said 7 games (and put ot in the title) but then only showed six? Gonna roast yourself for not being able to count or something?
There’s a cute moment in Sherlock Holmes: Awakening where a little kid hands a puzzle box to him, he opens it for the kid, then his mom calls for the kid saying ‘Hercule?’ Hercule Poirot is another famous fictional detective who apparently learned from the best :)
GTA AND DRIVER holy I didn't know they did those references am I blind and deaf???? Easter egg Hunter for educating me again!!!!! Ur videos always surprise and amaze me!!!
