My affirmation used to be "I'm a smart woman who makes bold choices and is confident in her decision-making". And couple months later, I made a huge life change, went back to school and moved countries. Awesome decision so far. 👍
"Mindful Relationship Habits: 25 Practices for Couples to Enhance Intimacy, Nurture Closeness, and Grow a Deeper Connection" is a book all about marriage & includes lots of info on marriage meetings & other habits :)
“Your mind will answer most questions if you learn to relax and wait for the answer” -William.S.B sometimes we keep rushing things and we ask why we don’t know this and that. GREAT VIDEO 👏❤️
Lists make me so happy. 🌸 Your idea of having lists to reframe your thoughts IS GOLD!!! 💓 So often we can get stuck in simple things, a reframe helps so much!
Implementing #6 by letting you know how much I appreciate your content. They're easy to follow and obviously a product of your intentional deep work, not just refreshed/regurgitated content. I rewatch your videos as reminders or to reset when I feel like I haven't been intentional recently. Please keep it up.
I was a skeptic and used to play affirmation videos when I'm sleeping only because I would cringe if I were awake but your advice about using truthful ones that I agree with is life-changing. I'm so inspired to make a list. 1. I will retire early = to = I have enough for my needs now so I can make provisions for my future

I love this!! You always have great ideas! I remembered watching one of your videos where you talk about having a “favorites day” and maybe I could do a list with all my favorite things and choose random stuff from there now and then. I thought of doing this day on a day that I’m actually dreading. Like if I know things will be hard at work, or I have a scary meeting or something I don’t like in that day, I could do a bunch of my favorite things on that day to actually look forward to it. This and the life admin day are genius! Thank you! 🥰
You are seriously the best creator on this entire website, the dedication and the fact that you're psychic and post videos about the exact things I'm thinking of/needing to improve at the exact moment I need them, gah! Just love this channel !!!
You are just my favorite RU-vidr, i never cease to find benefit from your content so thank you!! When you mentioned "slow" as your word of the year it got me thinking - have you ever looked into hygge? I think it would be a great thing for you to explore and i would looove videos from you about it (along with any kind of "how can I make self care more enjoyable"?) There are some nice hygge videos on RU-vid but i have a hard time relating to most of the ones I've found as it doesn't *seem* like they have a lot on their plate. I'd just love to see your perspective on it!
SOOOOOOOO true setting your mind on something before sleeping helps it to roll around in your brain and percolate during your sleep. The magical power of subconsciousness will often reveal the answer. And is life not all about re-framing. Everything is a problemtunity.
Thank you so much! I used to do lists to get through household chores and perhaps clarify my mind. I also use them for idea brainstorming and recording what I did that day.
I find gratitude journaling to be so powerful. I love that you mentioned that too! Sometimes I'll set a reminder at a certain time just to think of what I'm grateful for. It totally changes your attitude, energy and mood throughout the day. Very inspiring video! :)
Hi Michelle, regarding gratitude: I have been following your channel since the "decluttering and organising your life challenge" (was it 2015?) it was the first time I got rid of so many useless things and got clear on what I want. You impacted many aspects of my life and my thinking! Thank you so much for all your work!
Thank you so much for this video. It was so practical and helpful. My favorite parts were affirming things that are nice reminders and how would you advise someone you care about to get through or handle a situation. Thank you. Oh and I loved affirming " I have plenty of time"
Could you make a video on that list your sister had about tasks and their levels and how they would make you feel? I thought that looked so interesting and something I could see implementing!
I feel like I already have so much going on in the background in my head already and especially don’t want to bring it all up right before bed or I can’t sleep. Am I alone in that? Any advice for doing this without triggering anxiety?
I think going to bed with a question wouldn't be a good idea.. As it will keep on ticking at the back of your mind at subconscious level and might disturb with your sleep..
