I actually wore a baseball cap on my 4th day post op. I was told it was fine as long as it didn’t touch the area. I got a couple of hats with harder structured front so there was breathing room. I found that bucket hats were harder to put on and take off without touching the area by mistake. I only had hair transplanted to the top front though
I wore a trucker hat 3 days after my transplant. (I did NOT wear it at my normal size. I wore it much larger than normal). It did NOT touch my hairline area or crown area. (My trucker hat is a taller style crown more old school style cap.) the swelling of my head helped keep the front and mesh portion of my cap up and off my donated areas. I would remove the cap carefully and as often as possible. Never wore it more than 30 minutes at a time. This may not work for everyone or every type of hat. (Whiskey Bent brand cap)
Just got my transplant from Vera clinc and man .. what a amazing clinc! Beyond my expectations fr . Definitely a bit self conscious about the plane ride back when I do my layover in the us I’m definitely gonna get the stares but it is what it is .. ima be looking my self again in a year so 👏
the clinic is great isnt it?? i enjoyed myself there when i went the second time. The plane ride is a little tough but once you get through that its not too bad. can't wait for your results in a year!!
I was so nervous then once I stepped into the clinc and they sat me down it was such a relief.. yeah definitely one of the best ones out there fr 🙏🏼. Ty brotha! Will be going back in the near future to get the crown re done as well .. I’m 24 so they wanted to play it safe which was another green flag . Like my biggest concern was how much they cared vrs jus getting me in and out and they indeed past the assessment in my head of “ above & beyond 😂”
Hi Amit, you have phenomenal facial hair growth especially beard. Hence, why didn’t Vera consider transplanting your beard grafts onto your scalp? The grafts from the beard could’ve easily covered the crown area as the beard grafts are usual double or triple follicle.
You're right they couldve! But it was a personal choice to not do that. My beard hair is a different texture compared to my head hair, so I didnt want that difference. Plus I didn't want my face/neck injected for the removal of hairs, wasn't a fan of that!

no limit! you can defiantely do a long drive on a sunny day, just at the early stages of your hair transplant, I personally preferred to say indoors and not expose my scalp to the sun as often. It is a personal choice, but if u decide to wear a hat outdoors, its ok to wear it for long periods of times, just as long as its not pressing against your transplanted areas
Hi I am 15 days in since my fue hair transplant in turkey from smile hair clinic .I do not want to take oral finasteride would you recommend 5% topical minoxidil instead??
oral finasteride and minoxidil are different things! minxoidil helps promote hair growth, while finasteride helps sustain your existing hairs. I would recommend taking both, but its up to you! Its not necessary, but it is highly recommended if you wish to have the best results!
it only does if you're pressing the hat against your transplanted hair long term. if it isnt touching it too much at the beginnning journey of your transplant, it should be fine
