I'd quite like a nascar "generations" feature in the next nascar heat. Having cars from 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's as well as the current generation would be cool. Obviously not mixing the generations together, but to be able to choose which generation you want to race in would be awesome

Far and away my biggest desire for the next game is the menu presentation to be more like a garage, at least for the career mode. I think the presentation, like you said, really really sets the tone for the game and I think does wonders for my enjoyment of the game.

Did anyone notice in the Kyle Busch pit stop how the gas cap isn't on the right side of the car yet the gasman fuels on the right side? That is something that needs to be fixed.

a small detail is adding in a button for the clutch, one of my strong points in '15 VE was saying fuel while still being fast by pushing in the clutch

The perfect game to me would be NR2003 with a better paint booth, GWCs, double-file restarts, free pass/wave around, custom camera views, custom flag settings for all flags, custom UI, custom playoffs/stages (as well as the option to disable them), weather delays, red flags that actually stop the race, custom damage (NR2003’s 3 damage types plus BeamNG-style soft-body physics), easy-to-use track builder, updated 2021 tracks (plus Rockingham and North Wilkesboro), saving races midway, more than 43 cars, the Eutechnyx car radar, multi-groove racing, multiplayer that isn’t laggy, and more stuff I probably haven’t thought of yet.

No 1: Better physics aka cars that have actually good crash damage/animations and also cars that DO NOT bounce.

I think that nascar games should allow you to change the style of playoffs in career/championship mode. Also I think an interesting feature in nascar 21 would be to invert the felid in championship mode after certain races. I know it’s kinda stupid but I would enjoy it

The last NASCAR game I played was NASCAR 07. I only remember getting last in qualifying so I could go backwards around the track and go bowling

it's a small feature, but I think it would be cool if there could be a playoff points leaderboard during the race, like how NBC shows it on the left side of the screen during races

NASCAR 08 and 09 for the PlayStation 2 had an in-race ticker scrolling across the top of the screen. That was a cool feature even if it only updated everyone's positions when the leader crossed the start/finish line. Would like to see that return perhaps.

One last thing I forgot to add is qualifying is your position in the pits so it adds a strategy for competitive/pro gamers. This also adds more realistic value for casual gamers. Hopefully can be added in NASCAR 22 due to me being late.

Being able to restart anywhere in “restart” zone instead of generic start would be cool touch

I would really love to see more things being done by the player. At the moment, the only thing the player can do is racing. Back in the late 90s and early 2000s games, you could drive in the cautions, restarted by yourself (and not just holding the button until you get control) and also parked and left your pit stall by yourself. Having that in the modern games would be really nice.

One thing I think that all nascar games struggled with is the ability for the AI to drive and wreck realistically without me being involved. I would also love to see the caution replays back as well, that was one of my favorite features

I agree with all points you made. I would also like to see more realism when it comes to the camera views. Like the roof cam to actually look like the real roof can with camera shake. Or like the replays be more like the ones from NR2003, where you can position the camera your self, or choose just the actual NASCAR track camera positions. It’s the small details as well as the big details i think that make a game. Like the interior camera view is awful in heat 5. And also add in the commentators at the beginning of races like they did in inside line. That was cool.

I missed that one feature, that was present in Dirt to Daytona(and Heat games before). The ability to switch to other cars during replays.

It would be cool to see the leaderboard on top of the screen in the next nascar games and caution replays as well

1. Physics (completely unreal in the current games) 2. Realistic damage. Be able to choose no damage, arcade damage and realistic damage would be great. I mean you slam into the wall and you hardly had a scratch on the car. You get spun around and are hit head on and drive away. 3. Simulation option/owner mode. Be fun to watch races. Super fun in Nascar Racing 2003, but that is better as you can mod the gad a ton.

My ideas (career mode): -Press interviews and other opportunities to show our personality that can effect fans and sponsors -crew chief makes strategy decisions, (kinda like the engineering F1 games) and your speed rating can be affected by how good the crew chief is and how well you work together -sponsors and drivers moving around (idc if it means having fake drivers and sponsors) -NASCAR can suspend or fine you -the ability to fight another driver after a crash/race

An in race option (via lobby host or player vote during caution or stage breaks) to boot wreckers online. Perhaps a points or licence system or ranked and unranked lobbies. Ranked lobbies would group racers based on a similar skill set.

I’m late and don’t expect this to happen due to the timing. What I would like is broadcast announcers that get involved with the race by emotion which can be excited when coming to the finish of a close race. Surprised when a hot seat driver performes excellent in a new car or truck. Getting the pit crew knowledge by having a Michael waltrip talk to crew Chiefs to find out if something happens to damage a car and needing to know if it’s serious or needing tire changing to hopefully fix a problem with gaining speed. National anthem before the race. Driver introductions and how they’re performing during the season if in a career mode or your own made schedule. Physics like tire rub on the paint job if you bump while side drafting and paint being scraped off when rubbing on the wall. Victory lane reporters and the broadcasting talking to the driver. in career mode and or both main menu as well. Have the nascar hall of fame so new gamers can learn some history of the legends. End of the race key moments that the broadcast talks about as to how the winner of the race got to victory lane and ending with what race track the season moves to next. I agree needing the return of the gas gauge. Marker for the cars on the track so you can be aware of other cars on track. Lastly a trophy case in a garage so that you have a memory of a character you raced as that the user used by name and to be in the hall of fame in career. Again this is late and I don’t expect all of these to go in the game. Just hope it’s seen and noted for NASCAR 22.

My Wishlist 1. Editable Ratings. Allowing users to edit ratings on drivers. Ratings such as Intermediate, Road Course, Short Track, Superspeedway, Aggressiveness, Qualifying. Give users more control. 2. Better paint booth with downloadable community creations 3. Caution Replays 4. Exhibition Races (All Star, The Clash, Duels) 5. More realistic damage with pieces falling off. 6. Driver retirments, changing teams, promotions and demotions in Career Mode. 7. Make money matter more in career mode. Paying to fix damaged cars, buying new tires each race, repairing worn parts, paying pit crew, paying crew chief, paying driver, paying for research and development. 8. Easier to spin drivers or be spun. More realistic AI wrecks. Not random spinouts. I would gladly give my $60 for a NASCAR game like this.

There's only 4 NASCAR games I consistently play: Thunder 2004, 2005 CFTC, HEAT DTD, and 99 Legacy Edition (for nostalgic purposes)

I miss when they would show the running order overhead like old nascar where everyones running and what not and some commentary

I had a Truck league race at Watkins Glen a few weeks ago where a few of these affected me. I risked taking no tires on the last stop instead of 4 to save time and also I made a lot of mistakes trying to figure out where on the track my fuel was switching down.

I'd love to see new Nascar game added some Nascar legendary tracks to game. Like north Wilksboro, Nazareth, Riverside, Nashville fairgrounds, Memphis, IRP, Pikes peak, Daytona Beach, Rockingham. Be cool to see some of ea sports fanasty tracks return like old spice speedway. I like to see arca series in new Nascar game. Since they own arca now. And custom season mode were you can do your own/ custom schedule.

Personally the thing id add to your video that i think is under appreciated is Total Team control. Give me the ability to run my own team, swap between cars on track, maybe even a team manager and i would pick up the games in a heartbeat. Personally in the UK the NASCAR games are hard to get hold of, so i havent played since 09. But 06 was always my favourite game

All these were really good but there is a few more that would be nice. Caution Replays of choice in options. Realistic A.I wrecks. Paints like in NASCAR 15 and like Heat 5. So you can make your own and you can choose from some designs. I also miss where in heat 3 you can take any line on a track you want. Like I don’t want to follow the exact same racing line as the a.I’s drive or where the game tells me to drive. That could also be an option in settings.

Good suggestions. How about some VR support? Thus eliminating the need for more elaborate set ups for some.

Ability to improve lower tier teams and take them from backmarkers/midfielders to championship contenders. As it is: there is zero reason to pick a lower tier team in career. Speaking of: a more fleshed out career mode featuring interviews, better use of the rivalry and allies system, driver retirements/transfers/promotions, getting fired for poor performance, etc. Much like what we see in the F1 games.

I would like pit options back in pause menus like nascar thunder games had and best of line feature be something you can have you on during races as if your not use to track it helps a lot know when to break or some break lightly into to corners

There should be the feature for the crew members to have a "Rag doll" effect so you can run over them

I normally play off-line so here is some features I would like. First, I would love to see 2K create the next series. Call it NASCAR 2K “The Next Gen” I would have Bubba Wallace as the cover athlete. New Features: Content Upload - Upload content like Sponsors, Paint Schemes Templates, or face scans. Driver’s Ratings/Styles- Besides Team ratings, if a driver runs better at a super speedway then other track, then in the game that should be same. The driver can also be aggressive or patient, clean or dirty. Winner Animation - Animations like the backflip, the bow, the fence climb, and more. New Rules - You should vote on new rules as your career progresses on. My Career: You start the career in the #14 Haas Automation Dirt Car. You will compete in the last 5 races on dirt against generic drivers. Afterward, there’s a cutscene: After your last race, Tony Stewart comes up to you telling you that you are talented driver and that you need to find an agent. Then your phone ring and it’s 5 agencies. KHI - Kevin Harvick Inc. TDM - Team Dillon Management PSM - Prosports Management SMM - Spire Motorsports 2KM - 2K Management Each one cost a different amount each year as well gives you different sponsorship deals and contracts. After signing with your agent, your first deal is sign with an ARCA team. Most of these teams and drivers will be generic. But favorites like. Sam Meyer, Hailie Deegan, Thad Mordor, etc will be in it. As you progress and take other drivers’ rides, those drivers will become free agents to sign with other teams. Also, drivers do retire and get injured. In my career unfortunately you will not be able to buy your team. My Owner: This mode is for those who would like to own a team. Name it whatever you like and You can sign deals with sponsors and sign Free Agent drivers. You can own up to four cars in each series. It will cost VC, to own a team. Different drivers cost different amount. If you want you can hire Hailie Deegan or a generic person name Dylan Thomas. You can upload your own sponsorship, that will paid you a certain amount no matter what. Online thing called The Track: Its like a gate a track, you can walk around buying merch, playing trivia games. Or, walk to the pits. Here you select the track, and you can race other drivers around the world on that track.

Add a sim mode like Thunder 2004, legend drivers like Earnhardt, Petty, Pearson. Modern drivers like Gordon, Johnson, Stewart, Jr. Each driver gets their top 2 most iconic paint schemes. Also add legend tracks. These are tracks of old. All it would take is the dimensions of past tracks and a driver like Richard Petty to tell you how it raced. This could bring back tracks like North Wilkesboro, Rockingham, Riverside (Idk if I got the name right), etc. Then, allow any series to race at them, allow you to put these tracks on a custom schedule, and race these tracks online. This would be golden.

I agree with your 7 choices but I also like some other ideas that other people have said in the comments such as custom logos and custom tracks. I would also like to see a feature implemented that would allow you to explore the infield of every track if possible so that way you could visit the lake in the Daytona infield or drive around Eldora’s infield. I also would like to see a feature implemented where you can select where you want to pit at like at the front or the end of pit road so you can have a strategic advantage for pitting. The final feature I would like to see is that when a late model is out of the race it is placed in the infield of the track and not on the track so you don’t have a chance of crashing and causing your self a race. I would also like to see the return of the team control, ally, and rival system of 06 and 07.

Something to keep in mind is that consoles demographic is casual players. Enascar used iracing which appeals to people who want a realistic feel. For NASCAR games to get competitive like Iracing you would need to make it a simulator which is hard if not impossible to do on multiple consoles let alone just one, with the limited resources and income.

Add a Talladega night race and say a ghost track like North Wilksboro or Rockingham as a fantasy or unlockable track. Perhaps give the option to race the road course at all ovals that have one (there are several). Actual true to life throw back paint schemes.

A more freely creative paint booth would be nice, the return of an actual trophy room would be cool, not just for titles but for race trophies as well. Now I also know the trophy thing would be kinda difficult cause they don't know what the trophies will look like for that years races except for a select few, but it'd still be cool to have it like EA had it back in the day. Better damage model too would be awesome. I love what the studio's done with the Heat series but I feel like there's so much more potential in these games, and hopefully next year's title can fully explore it.

I want NASCAR Heat 6 (NASCAR 21) To have a copy/paste thing, You go to create your own car, Then you click it, Then you insert the drivers car and change the number or color.

#1 is something they could easily add to the real life racing cars, just in general. I know they don't want to put mirrors sticking out of the cars, but cameras and screens are enough right? Hell, it would bring the cars closer to the roadgoing production variants, because a lot of them now have backup cameras and proximity sensors and driver warning cues.

One feature: put all the tracks Nascar goes to in the game. aka= COTA, Daytona road course, the recent Chicago Streetrace Course, LA Coliseum, etc The ability to look around the interior of the car, i liked doing that. Bring back Caution Replays Realistic Career mode similar to the F1 games. When you simulate a race, it gives you the finish result based on your racing when you play.

All I want in life is a full paint booth, that’s it. Just remaster the Nascar 2012 paint booth and put it in Nascar ‘21. I will instantly buy it.

They should also add a custom ai drivers, like how bobby carter is a creator ai, itd be cool if we could make our own drivers and schemes and see them driving as an ai but not...

i wish the paint booth was more diverse. as in, there were more paint schemes, more sponsors, and have actual real life team number fonts like the Joe Gibbs one, the Team Penske one, and the Hendrick Motorsports one, to name a few. That way we can have number fonts on our cars that are the same as the number font for the team we're in in the career mode.

What about the Share Draft and the Intimadator feature? They help me making allies/grudges and make my car gain more speed/made the car in front of me slip to make a move. It’s a very interesting feature and I would love to see it back again!

i agree with the radar only because the spotters are so bad example I'm actively being pushed into the grass hes screaming clear high all the way to the wall. what id like to see is bring back the hired drivers from the EA days i think it was 05 or 06 where you hire drivers even if you own a team in every series but only want to run one hire drivers to drive for you in the others or even if you sim a race hire a driver to run a hot seat then make it so we can add a team to hire drivers from lower series or retired drivers like boyer is retiring at the end of this year and even take advantage of other unused buttons to set up your pit stop while racing example on Xbox. one press of the say d-pad up while racing opens a pit menu in the dead spot on the left and use the d-pad to make adjustments and finally full custom controller mapping. I only have use of one hand so I cant brake I throttle with my middle finger steer with my thumb and am always accidentally hitting the camera button with my finger games like inside line and 2011 I had steering as the right joystick still middle finger on the throttle so I had a better grip to tilt the controller to hit the brake with my knee or thigh after that roval weekend we need weather. weather its racing in the rain, rain delays or rain-shortened where you need strategy to be leading improve dnfs and have ai dnf hell real radman had a video where Amarula was 20+ feet in the air and managed to finish 20th

We need little explanations of what each spring, rebound, or track bar adjustment does. Also it would be cool if the packages were in the game. Short track and Superspeedway ofc. Caution Replays, Maybe the option to drive or be controlled after a caution, and PLSSS rework DNF's to give us our stage points.

I’d like to see a driving line during races. I don’t really have the time to memorize the ideal line for every track and it would help casual players too!

I still say the EA NASCAR Thunder series was my favorite. All the new games don’t have the same feel. 2004 career mode was my absolute favorite because you have no assists at all, and it also was fun to drive a loose car. The new games make me mad when I get loose because I can’t correct it on the new stuff. (Probably because I can’t get used to the new “handling” of the newer games.)

They should add in a series made up of only fantasy drivers and tracks. Maybe even past generations, such as the 60s through present day.

There's one feature I really wanna see, one from NR2003: Extensive modding support.

I wish they'd go back to a game like NT2003/04 and revamp it with modern features. Those games were masterpieces.

What I want the new NASCAR game to be is a singular game that updates regularly for a couple of years like Siege. Sure there’s a couple of kinks to work out should they do that, but it would benefit them in the long run to just add updates with new paint schemes rather than make a yearly release that changes too little or too much.

I really wish they added the customizable paint schemes but not the one that we have in heat 5 and 4 I’m talking about the Nascar ‘13 14 and 15 i always wanted to use those and I think it’s great instead of the regular choose out of these paint schemes
